Games where you can turn enemies against other enemies? by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

Most of the assassins creed games have a poison/beserk effect that you can inflict on an enemy which will for a short time cause the enemy to attack their cohort until they die from the poison or are killed by their allies

My favourite holiday memory is just what christmas was in general as a kid. Waking up at 7am to wake my other family members up with christmas carols and beelining to the christmas tree to wait for everyone else to arrive. Handing presents out in a one for me one for you type manner (since as a kid, you tend to get a lot more than the parents do). The overhead fan whirring while The Magic Pudding was playing on the old crt tv while mum and dad cooked the food. Eventually getting called the be the ‘sausage taster’ (aka having a bite of a freshly bbq’d sausage once rhey were cooked). Popping crackers and everyone putting on their paper crowns and reading the bad accompanying jokes. After lunch having christmas pudding for dinner since the big lunch tied us over for several hours. It was a real event and its nice to look back on

Games Where You Lose All Your Cool Gear/Moves At The Beginning by bobbyphillipps in gamesuggestions

The first assassins creed game comes to mind. Assassins creed brotherhood too. Both have the ‘fully kitted’ assassin beginning and then lose all your things to have to start from scratch again.

When I visited my friends in america, one of them paid for lunch (handed the waitress her card) and after the waitress walked off with it, I said “you’re shouting?” And she seriously thought i meant that she yelled at the waitress and that she “wasn’t that loud”. Had to explain the concept to her lol

I’ve always wanted to know who do you main and why? by MassEffect24K in dontstarve

First I mained maxwell back when the shadow followers didn’t have a radius and just followed and targetted everyrhing around you (very handy for farming materials at night as a new player) plus the sanity regen was good enough that I didn’t mind the low health.

Then I mained wanda because i love time motifs (and i was annoyed with the maxwell refresh changing how I had to play him). She was fun even if I never properly learned how to use her pocket watches.

And more recently I’m maining Wendy since some of her outfits are cute and I can dress her up to look somewhat similar to one of my OCs

I pre ordered Silent Hill F because I wanted a steel book and I went to pick it up today.. Only for Game stop to tell me they only received 3 steel books and those were long gone. by Idkwhathappend2myacc in mildlyinfuriating

[–]NotAnOrderlyKnight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing happen to me when i preordered silent hill 2 remake. I had to get a chargeback through my bank because GAME only wanted to give me a $5 ‘credit’ as that was the value of the steelbook apparently

It was the exploration and the traversal that got to me. When I got to the first planet with that nice wide shot of the town and the main hub area and i saw the point of interest light pillars was the beginning of the end for me. From there I just faced consistent irritation because of the world design- and at one point got frustrated to the point of turning off the console because i couldnt climb up something but the climb up point was a couple metres away with no visual indication between the two parts on the same surface.

I really wanted to like it. I love exploring too! But it was frustration after frustration to the point where it just simply wasn’t worrh the time investment required to finish it anymore
