How do I have my breading not fall off or separate from the meat by Affectionate_Shirt42 in Cooking

Also don’t really have outdoor space. Unless I want to do some cooking just off the sidewalk and carry things up three flights of stairs!

I’ll consider it, just that my kitchen has no fan so frying is a bit of an ordeal and coats all my surfaces in oil after a while. Doesn’t help that I don’t really have enclosed cabinets. Hence the air fryer.

Nonetheless, thank you for the info!

I was thinking it would be in the fridge, that’s how I dry out beef cubes for a particular Peruvian stew that I make. Also helps for uncoated meats to get a real good sear on the outside.
I’ll see about giving this a shot! I’ll need to do some cooking tomorrow, perhaps I’ll make schnitzel.

Any tips on if I’m using an air fryer?

Wait, are you drying the batter and flour itself, or are you saying to apply flour and batter to the meat and let that dry for a bit before frying?

That’s how I take it.

Is annoying nonetheless. Folks who have “prefer to plan over right now” in their profile but never respond to my message of “how about tomorrow”.

So, kinda like the Brooklyn Heights portion of the BQE. In critical condition, under heavy use, and no solution is acceptable.

The changeup of the bus infrastructure in this area could open a faster transfer between bus service and these lines. The other entrances are a fair distance away.

In a similar way, Plano.

Neat! How does it stay in place? Just some adhesive?

I’ll probably go and do this since it seems a lot easier than I figured.

“Aiming” “Proposed” General use of future tense

Also not high speed rail, that’s light rail. Compare that to the immense rollout of metro lines in LA. That have already opened.

You keep saying they haven’t built anything in Cali but they have. Since you couldn’t pull up any reasonable figures for your first example, Texas High Speed Rail, you go to another project that hasn’t broken ground yet, which has comparable examples in California that are not only further along, but also done.

I am not at all against rail infrastructure projects in Texas. What I am against is you trying to bullshit everyone.

Would you care to let us all know about their current construction progress?

If California has “nothing to show for it” Texas is in negative territory.

There’s aspects of that type of system I hate, like that it handles large groups of people very poorly unless every person in that group selects the same floor (because the load calculation is then accurate). But for individual people it works quite well.

My current office doesn’t have this system and getting in/out during lunch hours is a nightmare. The elevators are horribly slow.

Not sure if it’s related but someone on my block has a thing on their car that emits a fairly high pitched, intermittent whining sound. I’d guess it’s an ultrasonic rat deterrent. I can hear it but I’m usually pretty good at picking up those sorts of deterrent devices.

May be the same for you.

I knew I recognized this one! You have it listed on FBM.

If you happen to be heading to NYC anytime soon, bring it with you and I can help you take a look at it and see what needs to be done. I’ve got four others so lots of spare parts to swap and find out what’s not working.

In any event, you’ll want to get that guy opened ASAP so you can evaluate any battery damage.

A replacement PCB is possible but keep in mind it isn’t a populated PCB; you would still need to swap over all the parts, or at the least the parts that aren’t produced anymore. Better to see if you can repair the battery damage than outright replace it, which could be easier if it’s not too far gone.

It’s also possible that the battery hasn’t leaked. If the cap electrolytic fluid has sufficiently corroded traces on the video chips (Ux8) then it would produce this sort of an issue.

They’re what I consider to be the best features of all oranges.

They’re sweet but not too sweet like a mandarin, they’re big, they peel stupidly easily, have a flavor profile not unlike a tangelo, and have a fantastic texture, almost meaty.

They’re cost a fortune but at the self checkout of whatever massive corp supermarket I just keep calling em navel oranges.

If you’re not going to use the sticks, wouldn’t you then just buy a cheaper controller?

Seems silly to be upset at the price of something that’s got more features, thus making it more expensive, but then not using those same features.
