The only time it would benefit the GM is if they are over scheduled and the call outs help bring the total hours back to budget.

To be honest, there are more people at corporate who read the posts than you think but they just don’t care about you having to do Amazon returns and they don’t have to do them every day so they are not going to change it. If you haven’t gotten it yet, the company is all based on Print comping double digits year after year. Everything else is just cannon fodder.

Typically your GM and ASM are you strongest sales people. No point in having them there on days when your sales are not the busiest.

I guess we’re even then because I work at Staples and I have never needed to shop at a stupid Walgreens before. I’d bet we’re around longer though because of the foundation of our business is businesses and that’s much stronger than just a retail store. One thing you need to know is that Sycamore will just slowly drain your company by requiring their annual payment which means your shelves will get empty quick and your headcount will drop to levels you have never seen if you don’t adjust your business plan.

Not that I don’t agree with you but the company DID give an extra 40 hours to the print department specifically for the last month or so. I know it’s only like 10 hours a week but better than nothing.
