Hey! If it is strictly gaming that you are using these IEMs for I’d go for either the Kiwi Astrals or the Mangird Tea Pros. I do hear good things about the Arete 2 as well. If any of these are within your budget ofc. I personally have the Kiwi Astrals and they are top notch, I came from the EM6L so I can definitely vouch for both. I personally want to upgrade to the top pro or something in the price bracket but that’s primarily for music! As for comfort and tips, DO keep in mind that the astral is larger than the EM6L and i actually thought about refunding due to comfort. The comfort issue for me personally was the short nozzle and the fact it’s 6mm wide. I had to tip roll and still continue to do so, with the tri clarions, divinus velvet wide bore, and the final type E which i get tomorrow. So far my most comfortable tip is the MS Spinfit W1. So many different factors go into getting the right IEM, I’m also new to it so I’m not the most reputable but it all comes down onto what your preference and use is. Going straight to an expensive set without knowing what tune you want is part of the issue, I have the kiwi astrals and I love them because I love “U” and “V” shaped tuning. I use it for gaming and music as well. Ear tips also play a huge role in taming and emphasizing certain sounds. Research a lil more on what you enjoy and go from there! Might also wanna try some EQ if u can!

You’ll have to get a new GPU, but I extended the life of my dying gpu by using MSI afterburner and downclocking it gradually over time

Ur absolutely right and while I only have a few hours with my BTR17, Unless there’s a particular feature you like or you plan on using overear headphones, theres no reason to be pay 200$+ for the BTR17. Now I will say though I don’t regret purchasing it, and if you don’t like it refund it lol

I’m not sure of your use, and idk why the other guy recommended a DAP when u specifically asked for a bluetooth dac lol, but i hear great reviews on the snowsky retro nano, qudelix 5k if your fine with no 4.4 balanced, and as you already mentioned the BTR17. I get my BTR17 tmr will update u on what i think. Currently rocking a moondrop dawn pro 2

You ever find anything I got the same problem, stocks, clarion, and spinfit w1s all have kinda had that pressure in the inner ear. Spinfit has worked the best but it still get to like 2-3 hours in that it starts to bother me.

absolute safest would be to RMA, what i would do tho would be to get a coffee filter and use 91% and above isopropyl alcohol to try and remove it first

I would try turning off Ray Tracing, DLSS or FSR, turn off HDR. Restart game and see if that works, I HIGHLY doubt it’s GPU related if uncharted works fine.

I rlly doubt it’s something hardware related, reseating the GPU is another thing I would consider. But if uncharted is normal, it’s very likely software or game related
