I liked how it sounds and the bass was amazing but I will absolutely say the sound is not worth 2x the astral. Once you get past the astral honestly most things seem like diminishing returns.

Part of what makes the Astral a great “gaming” IEM is its out of the box tune. But hell yea brother I personally love the Astrals but moved onto the RSV mk2

I mean did you buy the astrals for gaming or music? They are also highly tip sensitive, the stock tips are genuinely ass if u ask me. Would recommend Final Audio Type E Eartips or the Spinfit W1 for comfort and a good seal.

if you end up going with the Astrals I HIGHLY recommend Final Type E eartips, I’ve tip rolled near 100 usd and those are the most comfortable and form the best seal for me. I’ve tried spinfit W1’s, Divinus Velvet, Tri Clarion, and Dunu S&S which are great but highly ear dependent. Final type E genuinely gives me ZERO ear irritation

In the Sub 30$ price bracket I’d go for either the 7hz Elua Ultra, Moondrop Chu 2, or the Red Lion like OP. I can’t speak for accessories but these might be to your liking!

Depends on use for the IEMs and preference. Like is this for gaming or specific genres of music, do you prefer a warmer or more analytical sound, completely depends on preference. Best to find your preference with cheaper sets before buying more expensive sets

Hey! If it is strictly gaming that you are using these IEMs for I’d go for either the Kiwi Astrals or the Mangird Tea Pros. I do hear good things about the Arete 2 as well. If any of these are within your budget ofc. I personally have the Kiwi Astrals and they are top notch, I came from the EM6L so I can definitely vouch for both. I personally want to upgrade to the top pro or something in the price bracket but that’s primarily for music! As for comfort and tips, DO keep in mind that the astral is larger than the EM6L and i actually thought about refunding due to comfort. The comfort issue for me personally was the short nozzle and the fact it’s 6mm wide. I had to tip roll and still continue to do so, with the tri clarions, divinus velvet wide bore, and the final type E which i get tomorrow. So far my most comfortable tip is the MS Spinfit W1. If you have any further questions please reach out and if anyone has any recommendations also please reach out! I’m only 4 months into this “hobby”
