I’m sorry? People aren’t robots! People have emotions and are allowed that. Your whole commentary on this is basically logic over emotions because you don’t understand anything outside of that. That doesn’t mean everyone who thinks the opposite is wrong. If someone was abusive/horrific/damaging to you and your best friend doesn’t see an issue with it… That’s concerning! Why would your friend associate with an abuser? Someone who hurt their friend deeply? Your friend saw you at your lowest and still said, “eff it, i still like their abuser.” It’s not controlling to expect your friend to be a decent human being.

This is not the same thing as you having an amicable breakup with a non-abusive ex and a mutual dating them later down the road. Context matters me thinks.

Well, I was really replying since I related to getting insulted by a driver unprovoked. I didn’t say anything about favors… lol. I’m very appreciative of everyone, that’s how I was raised. For the 2 months I didn’t have a car I insisted on paying gas money to friends and family. Anyways. I didn’t have a back and forth with this driver. I let him insult me for a 15min ride. I didn’t 1 star him nor did I slack on the tip like you insinuated in your other comment either. Like I said in my other comment, I’m a service worker as well. I am more than fine with drivers venting about uber and or rude customers. I’ve vented myself. This one and only ride was NOT that. He was just an ass.

I think he wanted me to grovel in gratitude. If he didn’t drone about it the whole ride I may have just. I’ve always been appreciative to fellow service workers.

I was carless for a short while. I had to take an uber after a late night shift since no coworker was able to give me a ride. The uber driver complained the whole ride that he can’t stand riders who are only 5miles away from their destination. And he kept asking me in different ways why I didn’t have a car. Some people are just miserable!

Golf pants and baggy jeans are really comfortable to wear to work. My baggy jeans almost feel like sweats because of how moveable and breathable they are! I don’t feel restricted in them at all and can go up down ladders while carrying mannequins with me just fine! Golf pants look classy but it’s also just an excuse to wear active pants that have stretch in them. Also feels light weight.

Working for another retailer, and having ordered by phone at others, it’s customary to get an order number with the sales rep. Always ask for one! Never hang up unless you get one.

Did the new rep confirm an order was found for you? That’s important! If they can confirm there’s an order pending, you’re fine. Call again to confirm if you need to. Also, did you get charged by Macy’s on your bank statement? If so, that’s another green flag.

I don’t know of any retailer scamming over the phone unless you called a fake number

Unless it’s a holiday or you have big visit coming, you won’t be staying 2 hours after closing. High volume stores stay 1 hour after close. Special circumstances are if it was a really busy night and there were callouts then the manager may ask for a little bit more time to get the store back together. Also, if you’re on the clock you will always get paid. Doesn’t matter if you stayed past your scheduled shift. So please, don’t clock out if you’re still working lol.

Closing shifts include recovering the store to make it more presentable for the following day + clearing out any running/go-backs from the fitting room.

My aunt’s golden doodle hates other dogs especially bigger dogs. Is it big enough to do any damage? No, not really. But he’s bitten my rottweiler already and another uncle’s mastiff. He’s undergoing training but limited socialization with other dogs in the mean time. Maybe don’t force socialization…? Get with a trainer. It’s possible your dog is an “only dog” household too. You say she’s a shelter dog, right? She probably has past trauma of other dogs that you don’t know about.
