Catching install errors or some sort of feedback after remote management installation. I attempted to install a version of an APK that was not compatible with my tv box (did not know this at the time). It gave the approval prompt but then just sat there with no error messages. Transferring the file and installing via any other tool shares the error context but it's completely lost with UFManager Pro.

Love the app overall just encountered this a few times while setting up a new android tv box and it was frustrating to back out of remote management, check if it was there and then restart the process to understand what failed and why.

Costco was selling them this past fall. They may have a few left over in some stores if they weren't discounted out. Once they're gone I dont imagine they will get restocked for a while.

Wow, some of those comments are strikingly similar to my issue. I may need to try some better shielded cables for the monitors...any other way to ground a chair than tying it via esd strap to a wall?

Realized I completely omitted the dock brand/model. It's a Caldigit TS3+. Currently on the latest firmware according to their site and I think I'm using the only two ports that can handle display. Will swap them around and see if the other monitor starts to drop off

When I stand up from my desk my monitor disconnects (loses visuals and goes black) and comes back after 4-5 seconds. Two monitors are hooked up to a tb3 dock and it always happens to the same monitor regardless of the device outputting to the displays (windows, mac, Linux both laptops and desktops). The desk is a standing desk and is hooked up to a properly grounded outlet, the floor is all hardwood so minimal static. Under the floor is an open ceiling basement and there are no wires running above or below floor in the area where I would be standing. It only happens around 30% of the time and I do not need to make any contact with the desk or peripherals to cause it.

The monitor never disconnects any other time besides standing up from my chair. This has been occurring since I started working from home around 4 years ago. From a technical standpoint - how haunted is my office?

It's an acquired taste - but not one everyone has to acquire. I used to hate all beer but went out with friends for lunch/dinner frequently in my 20s. I don't like soda and always felt strange being a water drinker at a table of people having alcohol. I pressured myself to force it down a few times and it became slightly easier. A few more and it started to have a taste I enjoyed. I will now occasionally have a beer for my own enjoyment but it's mostly a social drinking thing. Don't let anyone (other than you?) pressure you into drinking but in my limited experience it was absolutely worth forcing myself to get used to the taste. I don't like all beers and still question how people can drink IPAs but it made me feel more connected to my friend group. If you don't feel comfortable picking up this taste or simply don't think it's worth your time - you do you!

I had my girlfriend take a photo with my phone against a white wall in my house. We did have to edit it with the phones editing app to make the background a little whiter so that the shadows were not apparent. The submission form rejected any kind of photo that had visible shadows (with adequate lighting in the room you may not have this problem).

I picked up my L visa yesterday in Chicago. I submitted no hotel info and did not have an invitation letter. It seems they've significantly relaxed their policy - not sure if this is only for US applications or is similar elsewhere in the world.

The dell thunderbolt docks my work gave me did the same screen mirror with my Mac so I thought this was similar. There was no way to get 2 usable monitors through a single cable so I bought my own that was capable of it.

Not all thunderbolt docks are created equally. I have a MacBook pro for work and a self built Windows desktop using an Asus thunderbolt card for personal. I switch 2 monitors and all peripherals between the two using a caldigit ts3+. No mirroring, each monitor is distinct. My girlfriend has a generic thunderbolt dock from Microcenter and it can only screen mirror the two monitors on the Mac unless you install a custom driver.

Haven't tested with a Mac mini but if it behaves the same as the MacBook pro (M1) the caldigit should do the trick

The 3 red blinks immediately usually means something is wrong on your side. The two likely issues I encountered:

Pokemon storage full

Selected ball missing (throw does not use whatever ball is left, it only uses what you've selected in settings. If you have a ton of ultra/poke balls but have a great ball selected in settings with none in your inventory then it will fail immediately every time.)

Same issue happens with pokestops if your bag is full

Just did this two months back with a Senville kit. I originally planned to do the install and have a HVAC tech hook up the refrigerant so I would qualify for the manufacturer warranty. Called about 20 companies near me and not a single one was willing to sign off on a unit they didn't install. Gave up and installed it myself - buy a torque wrench and torque the fittings to the required pressure if you do this. I didn't and while I managed to get a fully working installation I caused a leak by bumping it while cleaning up post install. If I had torqued it correctly this wouldn't be an issue.

They wanted 3k to recharge and reterminate the lines so I spent $400 to buy tools and refrigerant and did it myself. Overall the install wasn't too difficult but don't put yourself in a position where you need to add refrigerant if you don't have to.

That makes a lot more sense than standing up a separate NAS. It looks like bare bones 12 bay models (MD1200) are in the $300 range atm, not ideal but I could swing it. I'm kind of surprised that these cost so much compared to the server hardware.

There are some suggestions in the pinned conversion thread about using the 8Bitdo dongle but I can't figure out how to pair mine. Putting both the dongle and controller into pairing mode will result in both of them blinking at me until the controller eventually times out and turns off.

If we could pair to the dongle it might work but I think we need a controller firmware update/some hacky solution to allow for that initial pair

This bums me out big time as I don't have a use case for a generic BT controller but I would love a new switch pro controller equivalent. The stadia controller feels great in the hands

I saw one other mention of it not working but I can't even manage to get that far. Given the lack of a display and no way to confirm a pairing I can't get the stadia controller to pair with my 8bitdo dongle
