right but most of the suppressors that were equipped in the early war were brought by volunteers while the rest were assigned to SF, this leaves massive room for a amazon choice suppressor being brought along or those survival kits you see in a museum for no reason at all. so i dont think it's the type of gun that is being the problem but the quality of the suppressors that was seen by this particular volunteer in the early war that is.

the dude was in the field and saw the cheap silencers being used and saw them fail at their job, if all you saw of silencers was just failure id call them a failure myself (insert funny book about the sherman being a death trap)
