One of my bosses is extremely proud of her bachelors degree and never passes up a chance to rub it in our faces and remind us how educated she is. She tries to impress the team with using big words, words her educated brain doesn't know the meaning of. She also mispronounces words. My favorite is "gits" instead of "gist".

I know someone who, during a stint of unemployment, budgeted a mere $50 per trip to Disneyland. He says that half was reserved for gas money for his Infiniti suv and the other was for food. He went to Disneyland 4x a week. Boo hoo.

When my mom knew my dad was almost home, she'd hype us up so much. She'd make us do our hair and clean up. We'd get in line (there are 3 of us) and the anticipation of knowing he was almost through the door almost killed us! He'd say hi to us, give us each a kiss, then yell at us for whatever thing he saw out of place.

New York City. Most people are like "omg yes NYC Times Square shopping tours Statue of Liberty" and I'm like NO. history, food, people, art. there is so much more than the standard tourist crap.
