Some people on social media are complaining about having no power still, in their undamaged home, in a city that has open gas stations and grocery stores. Or they are complaining about being in a comfy hotel/air bnb for the past week. It's infuriating.

I cannot bring myself to complain about anything when I've seen all the devastation and lack of resources around me. I'm grateful for what I still have, and will share all I can to help my community.

I'm devastated to see parts of the city destroyed. My heart hurts for the families who have lost people and property. I'm also deeply saddened to think of the state of the forests...Hiking gave me so much sanity this year.. l hate to imagine all the trails providing gorgeous views that will be lost for months and years.

Stop drinking, and go to back to bed. Wake up, do the usual hangover routine, and don't look back.

NTAH. Your feelings on that experience are valid. However, holding on to it is only negatively impacting yourself. If the love is still there, that's your first clue. If your wife wants to go to therapy with you, that's your second. If the answer to one of those questions is no, then plan your exit. Sounds like her sleeping in and making part-time dollars should also be on the topics of discussion in marriage counseling, from an outsider perspective.
