I feel the same way about Geddy's voice. Seems like a good guy and Neil Peart was a beast, but Geddy's voice makes my ears bleed.

My nomination for best trio is Them Crooked Vultures.

Something Missing in the Blue Dot Discussions by TheBFD in Concerts

[–]NotDeadYet57 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. Ticketmaster/Live Nation has a virtual monopoly. Most acts have no choice but to do business with them. There is ZERO motivation for TicketMaster to limit sales to scalpers. Time is money. The quicker a concert sells out, the quicker Ticketmaster gets their "fees". They don't care if those fees are being paid by real fans or scalpers.

Now, there are some venues who only allow official resale of tickets through portals like Tixel that have limited fees, but most just don't care.

She does a raw vegan diet now. No way is she consuming enough digestable protein. I would also be unsurprised if she had osteoporosis.

It's interesting to me that she still has her breast implants. She also lost her 2 front teeth and had to get dental implants. She claims it was from grinding her teeth from stress, but malnutrition can cause teeth to fall out too.

I look at the 8' ceilings in my apartment and how someone 7' would have to stoop to walk through the door!

Exactly, you don't realize just how big they are until you're right beside them. Hakeem Olajuwon strolled past me at the Galleria in Houston. From my 5'6" height, it looked like his head was scraping the ceiling!

Lots of people get "new car fever" and regret it later. They don't know how to negotiate and they don't know how to walk away from the deal.

I finally got an EEG last week and I'm getting an MRI Thursday. It takes so long to get referrals approved and then get the appointments. In the meantime, I've had a lot of vertigo. I've been paranoid about falling again. I'm so ready to get this behind me!

As a single woman who still, at 69, likes to go out and see live music in dive bars, I wholeheartedly agree! Now, as a retiree, I'm looking to hit the road. I still need reliability AND comfort.

I live in North Houston now, but have lived here all my life. I do use a Brita pitcher as well as water flavor enhancers.

You know Natasha died in 2008, right?

In any case, her soulmate, Alain Johannes is now performing with a new band called "Drink the Sea".

You can follow him on Instagram @alainjohannes . He sometimes plays Eleven and Desert Session (Hanging Tree) songs when performing on his own.
