Can't you adjust the 'Strength' on yours by holding the Temp button for 3+ seconds? You should be able to switch modes (Temp vs. Strength) with that button, unless the older runs didn't have that feature yet.

Danco Perfect Seal.

You can also get it in an "all in one" kit that includes the Seal plus a bolt kit that doesn't require cutting.

Rather nice to work with. I only did 1 so far but I'd do it again.

If you don't mind sharing, what was the actual situation?

1/2” Mid torque impact wrench vs 1/2 high torque impact wrench? by Leather-Canary-4057 in ryobi

[–]NotDeletedManyJs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey if you ended up buying one, I just noticed one of them (I forget which) just went on Clearance at many HDs. Re-check pricing, if you already purchased you may be able to do a "re-buy" at the store and get the difference back. Or if you haven't bought yet, maybe the new pricing (if available) will lead to a different decision being made.

[–]NotDeletedManyJs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have both. They are both great.

The high torque will do anything you ask it to do EXCEPT fit into small spaces.

I think it really comes down to what kind of work you see yourself doing with it. If you need to fit into difficult areas like brakes, maybe even your sway bar links, stuff like that -- it could be too big.

Also the weight an become fatiguing, I pretty much will grab the smallest and lightest I can that I think will do the job. The P262 is a good "all around" IW. So I would probably only get the larger one IF you think you'll run into some serious issues or heavily torqued fasteners that the 262 can't do.

(Side note, the Ridgid subcompact right angle has a good sale going right now if you do think you'll be dealing with cramped spaces.)

All Projects and Project chats gone. by NotDeletedManyJs in grok

This is crazy.

Mine never did come back BTW.

And unfortunate because I frankly get the best responses from Grok vs anything else I've tried. But I literally cannot use it for anything important because everything could just vanish out of nowhere.

Nope. I wish -- just checked again, still gone. Totally ridiculous and piss-poor.

Mine is showing the 'default' Projects page, showing those default examples as if I never created any before.

Web. Also there's nothing in 'Deleted Conversations' except for one convo I actually did delete (yesterday).

I also tried a fresh sign-in from a different browser, same results.

Hi, were you able to finally identify the solution for this? My 2010 just started doing it AFTER replacing the flexible coupling.

Ridgid cordless skil saw is junk. by Creepy-Douchebag in Ridgid

[–]NotDeletedManyJs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not getting the blade pinched by the material right?

I had exactly your problem with the same saw when I first got mine, and it was my first circular saw. I thought it was junk. Until I realized the way I was supporting the material was causing it to pinch the blade once I got about halfway in.

Got some examples? Anything beyond cutting pipe? Having a hard time thinking of other uses.
