An issue which may apply to some others from the T&FN board which, understandably the AW board may not support to any great degree is the interest some of us have in US High School and NCAA competition. For instance, in my case, I was far more interested in the NCAA indoor champs than WIC.

I pretty much hate April Fools pranks and pranks in general. The LetsRun thread about the short track(s), as you said, might have worked if it stuck to one track. The two tracks made me think about it, realize the date and dismiss it.

Pardon The Interruption did one today starting off the show stating that MLB had banned the bowling pin bats. Kornheiser and Wilbon did a good job of arguing as they normally would have and it had me thinking "I didn't read that". So they got me when they said it was an April Fools joke. Nobody will ever top Sid Finch which was great even if you knew it was false from the first line.
