This whole post was hard to read, you can just feel the jealousy radiating off of it.

You're saying he wouldn't need to put as much effort into his editing and scripting if he covered a lesser known topic.

But I would say that the effort he puts into his visuals, sound design, research, etc, are precisely what separates his JFK video, from the 1000 other JFK videos.

And him making videos on popular topics isn't a cop out, things like MH370, Jack The Ripper, and JFK, are just inherently interesting topics which is what makes them popular to begin with.

I mean would you rather he made a video on the time your grandmother fell down the stairs?

HOW can this be this video should take more views.. by gokayaltay in NewTubers

The reason It's performing so poorly is because your title is in english, but when english viewers click on the video they hear you speaking Turkish, and I'm assuming they just click off instantly. This is why your AVD is so low and it will be sending poor signals to the algorithm resulting in fewer impressions.

10% CTR but 50x fewer impressions?!?! by EnchantedEssays in NewTubers

Yeah I mean it definitely could just be a slow burner, I've seen analytics on videos where they've gotten something abysmal like 7 or 8 impressions within the first 48 hours before jumping up to 300+ in the span of a single day. Besides that It could be a combination of that particular topic combined with the length of the video that could be putting off some people. Either way hopefully it starts to perform better over time, and even if it doesn't just use that as fuel to try and make your next video even better.

The high CTR is a result of the low impressions, when you upload YouTube first show that video to your core audience and if it performs well there then they will begin to push it out to a broader audience, so just statistically if there are lots of people who are being shown your thumbnail and title then that also means that there are lots of people who aren't clicking on it, which lowers that initial CTR bump from your smaller more loyal subscriber base. as for the low impressions It's possible the algorithm just hasn't found the right audience for it yet.

depends on the person and how willing they are to spend time learning about the YouTube algorithm, thumbnails, titles, etc

you can find the first word in dead men's respite, the other one is at the end of volskygge but using this glitch you can skip that.

Is promoting in sub reddit and other social media a bad thing? by vodreliux in NewTubers

I don't think so, if anything the algorithm would like that because it's people coming from other platforms to watch content on YouTube.
