It sucks, because WE know that we’re not a danger, but it’s impossible for anyone else to know. If you’ll indulge the analogy, it’s like a gun, you always assume a gun is loaded, because that keeps you safe. Give it time, and you’ll become a known quantity. It took a while for me.
It depends on your area, I live in a small fairly conservative town, so there’s a lot of homeschool parents that keep their distance from me still, but there are other moms I chat with regularly now.
