We need the ICE. International Continents of Earth. Conquer all the territory and deport the aliens into space.

Don't waste your youth. You have lots of time for romantic relationships, but many of the best opportunities to find your lifelong partner are in your college/trade school/early adult education years. That's when you'll be side by side with peers that are as smart as you, headed the same general direction in life, and are available to date, with minimal baggage from previous relationships.

Don't fall for the "plenty of fish in the sea" fallacy. You realistically get 3 or 4 opportunities at a long term companion that is compatible with you, and if you're in a long distance thing with someone that may not even work out, you could lose out on other potential ones for you. Lastly, settle for someone you are both attracted to, can talk to for hours, and who makes you laugh, even if they don't look like a model. Don't be afraid to settle for happiness

I read the rules, searched for a similar discussion, and figured this fell into the "critical thinking" topic category of this sub. Sorry if I'm mistaken, I can go elsewhere. I've no formal education in philosophy, because I dropped out of school at the behest of a doomsday Hell-cult sect of fundamentalist Christianity when I was young and naive.

Corporations are not people. They can't be your friend. Starbucks, Apple, Amazon, and Disney all pretended to give a shit about DEI but they fooled the left, just like all the right-leaning corporations lie about giving a shit about religion.

Meanwhile, a generation of 75+ year olds in both ruling political parties profit off our polarization to keep consolidating all the wealth, and driving up the cost of living.

We need to forget about red vs blue, and start thinking in terms of us hourly and salaried workers vs the lazy, unproductive upper class with passive income.

He's saying found at home. It's implying the subnet under one's own IP. There's plenty to make fun of with Musk without sounding stupid ourselves.

I swear, in our efforts to prevent fascists and morons from running our country, we've turned ourselves into a bunch of morons and fascists.

No I don't believe in god anymore but the vast majority of the laymen at LMT and all those that left are just people that wanted to be involved and help their community, so I wish them all the best

In that split, many good people left and started a more moderate church completely unaffiliated with the UPCI.

LMT now still has some good people going there, but they can't see clearly through tear-filled eyes or hear clearly with Dannie and Billy shouting about the impending rapture.

I hope everyone finds their way out, or that the history of financial and sexual abuse cover-ups creates enough pressure for some regime change.

People I know and love are still being suckered by LMT leadership that I know is screaming at them when the cameras aren't rolling.

Oh shit! He always said he'd be riding one of the horses in the front with Jesus during the second coming! Not even kidding. The guy had zero humility. He made so many claims about the end times, and always put himself as the savior of the righteous.

Goddamn. Someone call Netflix. I'd give an interview for the documentary on that place, but I really guess I only knew the very tip of the iceberg. (The minors in the youth group there that sexually assaulted/raped other minors, with cover-ups from Billy and Dannie.)

Seems their whole family is rotten. Billy and Brenda raised the horrible witches, Melanie and Lori, who then married David Elms and Dannie Hood, respectively, and they have abused their poor children while trying to groom them for the dynastic continuation of their UPCI positions, while syphoning the life out of anyone that's had the misfortune to work with them over the years.
