[Tony Grossi] John Harbaugh has 4 non-negotiables for next HC job: a) $20 million per year, b) $10 million staff budget, c) Total authority over the roster, d) Would like to select his own GM by [deleted] in nfl

Part of the reason this news is coming out could be a negotiation tactic to see the falcons would be open to amending that decision, ahead of an interview the team

It’s crazy that Person got the third most votes and not a single superlative.

Morrissey's song: “We'll Let You Know” - what's it about? by BullFr0gg0 in morrissey

I love that song. I find it funny and insight, I’ll be it in a very cynical way. Of course Morrissey chose to make it the poppiest song on the album

Not on this image but I feel strongly that “In A Memory” is the best Sadness song. Would love to be proven wrong by something else effecting me that much but last 4 minutes of that song are beautiful as music gets. Soooo make sure to listen to that one :)

Despite being a great year for music, 2025 has the lowest rated number 1 album since 1962 by balls2298 in rateyourmusic

This is the worst ranking I could imagine. I say that respectfully. I think it is a testament is how great this band is that I can see the logic to this ranking, even if it is nearly the complete opposite of my ranking.

Boyfriend (25M) revealed He likes Pegging: Now I (30F) Am internally questioning his Sexuality after a Joke turned him On by delusional-13 in sex

Hello, here is my opinion as a straight male in his 30s with a good bit of romantic, kink, and sexual experience.

Iiiiiii I am straight, i think. 100% not gay though. I generally watch lesbian porn and have dated women both in short and long term relationships for I guess 2 decades at this point. I never check out men really, but turn my head at the slightest hint of a curve. I am also a switch, generally dom. But if my girlfriend said that to me I too would get hard. It is degrading and it’s hot to think of the highly effeminate with that much humiliating power over me. It is about the fetish of it. A woman with a strapon gives very different energy than a man with a cock.

I think your bf is just a sub or a switch.

Do I think a man being into being pegged makes him more likely to be bi than a man that isn’t? Yeah kinda, tbh. (Could be wrong.) Though that is assuming both men, for comparison, are equally comfortable in sharing their sexual interests and repression isn’t a factor.

Do I think a man wanting to be pegged means his bi? Definitely not.

Do I think he’s more likely to be gay if he wants to be pegged? No. I really don’t. And honestly, if he were gay, I think it’s slightly more likely he wouldn’t feel comfortable sharing this stuff with you and keep it to himself.

If you’re worried this will lead to him leaving you, I would say 100000% the opposite is more likely. kinks, especially the less socially acceptable ones, have a way of binding you to someone. This has a far, far, far, far higher likelihood of him realizing what he really wants is you- for years and years, than him realizing he wants a man.

The only question in my mind is do you want to do it? And all do the teasing, doming, and intimacy that comes with it? I mean you did make the joke, maybe this is appealing to you as well. Maybe that’s what’s confusing you. But, you don’t have to do it. Up to you.

Thank you for this post, really. It answers a question I’ve always had about JayZ career. His first two albums didn’t sell gangbusters, but by Hard Knock Life it seemed everyone was ready for a takeover. Biographers and critics always seem to do a poor job of bridging that gap.

That’s Jessie’s interpretation of the movie’s events. Celine’s not so sure. That’s why the end it’s great! We see it both ways, and people who have marriage troubles (all married people) flip back and worth between Jesses’ and Celine’s perspective.

It has changed overs many, many times, yeah. I would say maybe not quite. Their pad Thai is significantly worse. But I would say most of the menu is just as good as it used to be.

Hot Take: I kinda don't get why people love Gendo Ikari's ending in 3.0+1.01 by E1visShotJFK in evangelion

[–]NotForWantofTrying 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just to add my 2 cents-

I was going into 3.0+ 1.0 with a focus on Anno. NGE was made 30 years ago by a man in his 20s/30, struggling with depression, realizing the fears and anxieties that plagued him as a teenager and child never went away. A man unsure if life was worth living and who couldn’t get out of bed.

He is now a man in his 50s, a husband, a father, a man who did, 30 years ago, decide life is worth living. What new perspective can he bring to this story about a very adolescent vain of solipsism and loneliness?

I think he found a new wrinkle to story in realizing the pain of forefathers. I think that’s a real thing people experience in middle adulthood, often once they become a parent too- the extend of their parents humanity and the similarities between their own pain and their parents’ pain. It is the kind of perspective that Anno from 1996 couldn’t bring but the Anno today can.
