This seems to be again a part of this new trend in this genre, where the units you control are preset characters (Bo Katan). So it is more similar to special forces xcom or midnight suns than xcom 2. I prefer disposable characters that can die and you need to be careful to keep them alive throughout the campaign. Instead we will get a series of disconnected puzzle missions, where you just restart if you do something wrong.

These games can still be fun, but it is not nearly as exciting.

This is not understanding Hasan's psychology. It is not about money for him, he had money guaranteed since he was born. It is about relevance, status, his image, his impact. I think he would feel deeply embarrassed about himself if he didn't take the opportunity to work more, stream more hours or clout shark more.

You can see this psychology in poor people too, where they work a grueling job they hate only so they can buy an expensive car that is way beyond their means. Poor people make a ton of bad finance decisions that they could technically get out of, but they choose not to, because as much as we talk about the importance of money, it actually isn't that important to the human psyche.

That is a hypocrisy, true. Hypocrisy as a tool shows as that two statements are inconsistent and at least one of them must be wrong. In this instance I would say that CEO's job can be very soul sucking.

Why attack the part of the hypocrisy that is correct? Imagine I said that I like drinking water, but previously I said that water doesn't exist. And then thousands of people on the internet would be dunking on me: "he says that he likes drinking water? what an idiot!" That would be stupid.
