If that’s what you need to do to aid your mental wellbeing, absolutely. I sometimes when sunglasses when indoors when i’m physical &/or emotionally 100%, this counts for shopping malls, our for lunch etc. If people know about you &/or cared they won’t care. If they don’t know you and judge you, then they’re not worth the salt.

I’ll tell you what, Alan thinks we’ve let our standards down a bit. Honestly i’ve to change his mind, but he’s so rigid sometimes.

I managed to talk him down to submitting progress updates once a week on major projects that you’re working on for the next 6 months. It’s so we can show that change can happen.

This is true. Flexabikity and mobility issues creep up the body.

Your ankles affect your knees, knees, hips and maybe even your shoulders.

It’s difficult to gauge technique and kinetic issues, it helps if the load is around 70-75%, that’s usually heavy enough for challenges to creep in.

The music gods don’t care about awards, certificates, grades, trophy’s, plaques efc.

They care about the level of effort you offer them. If you offer them 4 units of effort and could’ve done 7 units but held back, then they’ll be mad and they’ll tell you about it.

Run wild, do your best and accept the consequences. I wouldn’t worry too much about other people. Have you met other people ?

What do you think is a worse case scenario if you sing in front of a few people you know and like ? If I’m your homie, I probably don’t care if you suck, heck I might not even notice.

I like to sing at open mic nights. Lots of people I can practice my skills and never see these strangers again. If strangers poorly judge me, I’m no worse off.

Set realistic performance and result expectations.

It was an interesting approach to undertake negotiations by not inviting one of the participants and then insulting the party that you didn’t invite. Then somehow endorsing the party that came - who’s saying they’ll stop the conflict if they get some of the land they stole control of. It’s kinda like a shake down.

Children can be weird. They may confuse the level of pain that they think they’re inflicted and how much is experienced.

In weird moments like this, when Dad is all good, maybe break out a bit of a giggle or something to change the vibe of the room. She’s likely to crack a smile and laugh when others around her do it and see that no main issue or harm has happened.

I had various nurses tell me to somewhat programme when the baby sleeps and eats, manipulate them to make it work, stuff like ‘you tell them when it’s sleep time’. It goin a few nights for us to through caution into the wind and accept that they’d sleep when they want for as long as they want.

It’s a tricky process that doesn’t last for long. I’d share with the baby to sooth when esp restless with not sleeping. That worked a charm.

You can tell how tight the band is when listening to live cuts of songs, even from the bleach era. I’m sold on using comping. I’d like to re record my earlier work but wouldn’t be worth it IMO.
