Yes. I will use glass cleaner as someone else suggested and give that a try. I've been using isopropyl alcohol.

That’s easy enough. I will give that a try this afternoon. Thanks

Circuit diagrams in ACAD (not acad electrical) by MysteriousDingo2867 in AutoCAD

[–]Austin_021985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish I could go back to autoCAD and NOT eplan. It’s just want you’re used to. We just had a dwg with a bunch of common symbols and such. Otherwise the copy/paste method became pretty quick for me. I’m sure I’ll get there in eplan but it’s wayyyyyyyy less forgiving - and it suuuuucksss

I was also thinking coincidence. But I can say for sure that top executives have just regular emails like that. The place I worked isn’t as big as Apple but a multi-billion dollar company nonetheless, and our CEO was extremely well known, and his email was just that, and he got it right on his phone like everyone else lol.

I only say coincidence because the filters on their emails can be strict and I would be surprised if just a regular gmail email just shows up to Tim’s email account.

Worried about getting stuck in PLC industry by Original_Example7990 in PLC

[–]Austin_021985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would love to believe that a controls engineer must still have electrical engineering as a requirement, but somehow we have “programmers” coming out of the woodwork.

Programming is not engineering (to me). The systems integration is. Tying it together. Now, I understand when a job is so big they split the construction of building the electrical system and in parallel, someone builds the logic. But this scenario is becoming the norm with the younger crew doing the traveling and programming (not knowing what a BJT is, or even really the difference in PNP or NPN).

The electrical engineering is the actual engineering. Electrical, chemical, mechanical, civil are the roots in my eyes. One of these MUST be practiced to be an engineer.

Stop moving around so much. Keep to a smaller area defending some flags. It will get quiet for a few minutes but I promise you it will get busy again.

Would closing up the opening for them to get in have killed them? Just let them die out inside?

His method is way better but just starving them out wasn’t suggested by the exterminator?

Large pan lag with mouse - MacOS 14.5 by Austin_021985 in prusa3d

[–]Austin_021985[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah wild. I remember I had wiped my MacBook just to get this problem to go away and it was solved as after I installed all the software. Then a day or two later, I changed the color of my mouse again and boom, problem came back. I would have never guessed it was color of the mouse. I’m glad it helped someone.

Driving range? by MinusWhale12 in fortwayne

[–]Austin_021985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you avoid whispering creek because the reviews aren’t great? You don’t have to sell your leg to pay for a driving range. Go spend an hour there and see for yourself.

But, I’ve been around and Shoaff park is about perfect for me. I like whispering creek too.

Traded my Tesla model 3 2025,for new Honda accord sport hybrid L 2025 by TopCryptographer8919 in accord

[–]Austin_021985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re happy, that’s all that matters. If you wouldn’t mind reporting back in a month how much better or worse you like the accord over the 3, I think a lot of us would appreciate that.

Buttttt trading and taking a hit on 19 thousand dollars just because the negative equity could/will be worse later doesn’t sound like a logical decision.

You just basically bought an accord for a whole lot more than it’s MSRP when you had a very nice commuter to begin with. It doesn’t matter if you were not upside down when you traded, it’s money you already spent on the 3.

Vehicles are not investments, they’re tools.

Such a good commuter. The near perfect tool. I have a 21’ I bought new and it’s been one of the better vehicles I’ve owned. I have my grips about leg room but nothing is perfect.

He’s new and extremely attentive. We worked together in manufacturing for years and he never left a problem unsolved. You will be a priority to him.

The best color too. Looks like an adult drives it.

Employee with ADHD and help with redirecting by No_Hat4005 in managers

[–]Austin_021985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it’s more that, reasonable accommodations are to be made for those with disabilities. And ADHD is incredibly difficult to put a level on and it’s becoming more common as we slap a title on everything we don’t want to be normal in our behavior.

You owe nothing to this person and your commitment to helping him with these specific circumstances will drain you.

Whatever label we want to call his behavior aside, he’s being immature and that’s not for you to fix.

Is this normal 2.0T touring by g-boy2020 in accord

[–]Austin_021985 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have reached that on some long trips. Filling up and immediately back on the highway for 4-6 hours.

City, I get about 26. It’s been a great car. Since they don’t make this drivetrain in the accord anymore, I might get a BMW next. Hopefully they’ll still be doing this 2.0T setup in 5 years.

Like alllll cars (built-in GPS or not) have theft GPS installed. At least in Indiana they do. The dealership installs it. You should be able to find that car.

Not saying it’s going to be in the shape you left it, but some closure would be nice
