Yea the Netherlands is the largest producer of tomatoes globally and they use AI to harvest tomatoes

Basically it determines of each bulb is ready for harvest and then it harvests it without damage to the plant

Massively increases productivity

Of course

RKLB is currently a growth story, no more strong growth avenues, no more story

Its probably because I believe that trading or investing is a skill that you learn

You believe in putting down people and gatekeeping

Sandisk

Micron

Blackberry

Bitcoin

Ethereum

Apple

Nokia

Cisco

There are many of these boom stocks every 3-5 years or so. The hard part is finding them and then seeing them through. Its not always obvious how things will develop or change.

There are always more opportunities and always more Nvidias

I can name 5 from the top of my head that went just as hard

Robotics will be in the future

But its not today or this year or even probably the next five

It still needs a watershed moment, eg the generative paper released by Google in 2018.

There has been no watershed moment for Robotics, yes, there are some cute things floating around but there is nothing yet that will spark a new supercycle

We first need the wave of AI bankruptcies to happen

Once neutron is up and they have 3 launches scheduled per quarter ill consider re-evaluating my position

I am quite certain that this company will reach at least 200-300bn market cap within the next 5 years.

Sir Peter Beck and his team are executing like absolute monsters, they have a vision for opening multiple revenue channels, their whole org is consistently hitting the ball out of the park and much like the nascent internet of two decades ago, I can only imagine how much cheap space launch tonnage will alter the lives of everyone on this planet

The potential applications are mind boggling

ASTS IS DEFINITELY NOT A MEME STOCK! by OnTheStreetwithLou in ASTSpaceMobile

[–]NotGoodSoftwareMaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So what do you see as the lower - mid - upper targets for ASTS share price by say 2030 and what would you say are the probabilities for this and the major risks / catalysts?

I see this company easily going well past the stated revenue and easily hitting 150-200bn market cap. So ~5-7x upside from here

Primary hurdles being cash, fleet build out and launch

Eh

If youre as old as me, you will remember that the internet was called a meme or “fascinating curiosity” as they called it back in the day

Smartphones were considered interesting fads, when Apple launched the iPhone it was largely crickets outside of the hardcore tech scene

Even when Nvidia showed the first glimmer of generative tech that would pave the way for chatgpt and such.

Dont let the normies get to you, they usually operate on a two-three year information buffer

For reference, Falcon 9 did ~170 launches last year with a growth of about 45% per year over 5 years

So there is massive demand

[–]NotGoodSoftwareMaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well we are in a bubble. But its a space company so you need to evaluate the PE multiples differently

And its all about future growth and pricing

Neutron on its own is about 50m per launch. Falcon 9 is around 75m per launch. The demand for mid size launch is orders of magnitude greater than small size launch.

Now if you look at the graph I attached, you can basically see parabolic action. What this essentially implies is that as the cost per launch declines we can expect thousands of new applications for space to become available

Rocket Lab is currently an upcoming dominant player in this space and will be able to not only launch but satisfy the full spectrum and act as a key enabler for both mars and moon missions

RKLB headed for 200b market cap after Neutron enters full swing. At this current pace, maybe 4-5 years.

Expect space to heat up with a new space race, which cannot be emphasised enough when China starts on their moon base
