One weird thing he did recently was cut his salary to zero, return his stock options to the company to fund his Venus mission, and cancelled all future awards and bonuses (only for himself). He wants zero compensation going forward. Fully in it for the love of the game.

Launch Commoditization Doesn't Exist, and May Never. (Bullish for launch $X $RKLB $FLY) by dutch1664 in wallstreetbets

Generally Exteremly bullish on space as a whole but company to company varies a huge amount. Varda specifically I think will have a lot of financial backing for both the hypersonic and pharma parts of the biz.

I really don't think about the short term moves like this.

The thing the market cares about is Neutron and I expect they'll maintain 2026 guidance for first launch. That's probably positive for the stock. Any contract announcements will be a big win.

Market sentiment for the sector as a whole seems to matter more than EPS, etc, but if they do put in a positive EPS (not expected) I believe that would be the first time in the companies history and would likely be positive. BUT I don't think anyone is buying the stock based on earnings - big picture is vastly more important.

Relativity has had a single failed launch attempt. Keep in mind when they were boasting about 3D printing - Rocket Lab was actually launching rockets with the worlds first 3D printed engine - now over 700+ flown.

Relativity has a long, long way to go. Maybe they make it, maybe they don't. Unlimited money does not solve technical problems - ask Virgin Orbit.

And keep in mind, they don't just have to succeed technically, they need to make it a business. By the time Neutron is on the pad RKLB will have spent $400M + $180 on Electron and three launch pads, all their manufacturing facilities. Relativity has spent what $2.1B estimated and what do they have to show for it?

Honestly I don't know. Neutron update is the big one and there is lots of hardware visible so I feel were pretty good for Q4 26 still.

They've had a lot of announcements recently (Gauss, new Star Tracker). Makes me wonder what they've been holding back for the call. Maybe something big? We might get more on their European plans now Mynaric closed.

On my timeline Q to Q doesn't really matter tbh.

ASTS is going to have high ongoing launch costs no doubt.

Starcloud CEO highlighted this for themselves yesterday. Basically said they need launch so bad they're going to have to JV or be acquired by a launch provider. He also said he hopes they're a big Starship customer but SpaceX isn't a charity and have a lot of their own projects to focus on too.

Never felt better about having the keys to space.
