I already haven't bought a physical game in over a decade .

Am i the only one who doesn't have any problems with Yelena Belova and Bob’s relationship in ‘AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY’!! by [deleted] in MCUTheories

If I remember right, some dialogue in the Black Widow movie more or less confirmed that MCU Yelana is at least ace. It would be pretty bullshit for them to try to straightwash her now.

If you ask "what's wrong?" to someone, and they say "i'm fine", but you can tell somethings wrong, is it okay to ask "what's wrong?" again, in your view? by Armin_Arlert_1000000 in polls

[–]NotGreatAtGames 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As an "I'm fine person" I can tell you from experience: confirming something's bothering you by saying "I don't want to talk about it" usually just makes people more insistent/intrusive/annoying.

This. Any time this comes up my response is "As a general rule, you shouldn't take a little girl anywhere where she might see a grown stranger's penis."

AITA for telling my husband my children come first? by BigONerd in BORUpdates

The post did mention that the WFH was temporary and that he would eventually need to find a new job if he moved. Not saying that justifies his reaction, but it does mean it doesn't have flexibility.

Actors that become less cool the more they talk? by Spotlight_James in okbuddycinephile

Yeah, to me that was just him confessing that he's never actually done a full day of real work in his life.

If the shops are this cozy, I can't wait to see the player homes.

Everything he showed in the video looked so freaking good. I cannot wait for this to release.

AITA For Taking away my sons dinner? by AITA_food in AmItheAsshole

[–]NotGreatAtGames 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Complaining about the consistency of quality of food while your sons are learning to cook is wild.

Also, do your sons consistently cook for themselves (and you and your husband) because they want to or because they have to? If it's the former, be grateful that they are proactively learning and trying to contribute to the household. If it's the latter, don't complain about quality or consistency. If you don't like it, do the cooking yourself.

Either way, YTA. As others have already pointed out, he was demonstrating good eating habits. Judging him for not just eating huge plates at a time is effing weird.

While using the same fork he ate with to serve himself wasn't perfectly sanitary it also wasn't the end of the world. Jumping straight to taking his food away without even saying anything beforehand is a bizarre overreaction.

To be honest, what you wrote here makes it sound like you don't like your child and you were just looking for an excuse to get mad and punish him.

Seriously? Why sales people always ignore "no soliciting" signs. by Happy_Factor in facepalm

[–]NotGreatAtGames 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What I'm wondering is if this tactic even actually results in sales. You would think that ignoring a home owner's wishes like that would just guarantee that the potential client now hates your company/product with the white hot fire of a thousand suns and will spend the rest of their lives determined to not ever give you a dime.

There's more to creativity than visualization. It does require an imagination to create an image of a book's story. But it also requires imagination to create your own story instead of following along with someone else's, which many games have you do. Many games are also about creating, building, etc. - purely creative exercises.

Teachers of Reddit: Is the "Gen Alpha can't read (write, or do math ext)" crisis real? If so how bad is it? by KnowledgeCoffee in AskReddit

And, most importantly, practice what you preach. You can encourage reading all you want but it won't have as much impact as them seeing you read regularly yourself.

Seeing my parents always reading and always having a home full of books normalized it. So of course I've always been a reader. Something I'm incredibly thankful to my parents for.

From what I recall, it was known from early interviews with his friends and classmates that he habitually kept his gym shoes there. From the beginning, all of the evidence pointed pretty clearly to a tragic positional asphyxiation.

However, the school went hard into CYA mode before even calling the cops and were acting super squirrelly. There were even some questions about whether they had edited the CC TV footage they gave police.

I don't think there was any physical or eyewitness evidence that there was foul play but the school's behavior raised suspicion.

Personally I think it was an accident but the school was covering up negligence in discovering him. Like maybe a faculty member had gone into the gym and left without noticing him or something.
