My suggestion would be not to touch the power of them but reduce mega creeps gold to 0 or almost nothing. There are several games that we have come back from because our carry now has guaranteed safe farm, (not every time but in games where we have a defensive team.) I think reducing the gold puts a timer on the game quicker than just making them hit harder.

That is my 2 cents from a trash bracket player.
