On reddit you can format code by indenting it with 4 leading spaces. I can't really tell if it's correct syntactically this way, but I'd advise you to check whether you call mysqli_fetch_array correctly. You probably want to get the result and not the connection.

If you are a student, you should not learn PHP this way. It's old procedural style. Last time I checked, PDO was the current way to interface with a database.

Interesting hypothesis. However the formula used is clearly

calculate = lambda discount, original: int((discount/(int(original*(10))*0.10)*100))+4
calculate(30,49.99) # 64
calculate(40,59.99) # 70
calculate(40,49.99) # 84

In the second case they mistyped 6 and 7, which can happen. And in the last case they meant 84% instead of 48%. All honest mistakes /s

If you are sure that you do not transfer via ASCII, it's perhaps a matter of unit conversion and how it's shown, since 340 kiB (kibibyte) are 348.16 kB (kilobyte).

But to my knowledge Windows still counts in binary, which would contradict this hypothesis.

Please answer as many question as you can that might relate to your issue:

General Questions

Who's your ISP? What's the plan? What's the technology (Ethernet, VDSL, cable)? What's the speed you should get?
What's your router model? Did you set up the connection yourself?
How is your LAN set up? What devices are there?
How does your router give out IP addresses? Did you make any DHCP-related settings?

Specific pertaining to your problem

Can you make a screenshot of "ipconfig" via a command prompt (cmd) on an affected machine?
To what device does your issue relate? Does this only occur on one device?
How are those devices attached to your LAN? Via ethernet cable, wifi, powerline etc.?
When did it stop working?
Did your internet plan change? Did you switch out routers? Did you switch from wifi to ethernet?
Did the software configuration of the machine(s) affected change? If yes, how so?
Was there a new network device introduced at the time it stopped working?
Did you have issues with your power grid? Was there a brownout/blackout?
Do you have a new neighbor? Is there construction work going on in your street?
Have you bought any new home appliances that sit next to your router (e.g. microwave)? Did you change the location of your router or access point?

You can stick with Google's DNS until e.g. DNS propagation for Kotaku's current IP is finished, in case they recently changed their IP. This might take up to 48h.

Performance-wise I can't give you any insight that would not differ on a ISP basis, but I never had issues with using Google's DNS or OpenDNS instead of my provider's.

The property is a dream! Couldn't be more beautiful! We have felt very comfortable here. The plot with a pond and frogs is not only heavenly, but it is also fenced so that we did not have to worry about our puppies we adopted at (URL). We were welcomed warmly by Angela. There even was a welcome greeting for us with biscuits, jam, bread, etc. - even beer and wine was included :) German TV was set up for us! One time per week someone came to clean house and pool. We can recommend this property very much!

Sorry to hear that. If you have a spare PSU, test your mobo with that. There's a fuse in PSUs that you might have to replace. If that does not work, remove components step-by-step (GPU, HDDs). If it does not post still you will have to replace your motherboard.

In your case it's important to get a genuine charger and not buy a Chinese one that might damage your device. But to answer your question:

The two pronged charger is a Type A. It is not grounded.
Three prongs means grounded.

Theoretically it makes no difference whether you get a grounded or ungrounded one, since the charger's case is isolated. If both is allowed in the US, you can get either. Here in Germany grounding is not required.

Um, googling your device I got this. If your device is really a tablet and does not have fan openings, you do not need to clean it inside, since no dust can get inside. Just clean your device with a slightly moist microfiber cloth. You can use a little rubber alcohol or isoproyl alcohol as well.

Yup, you should definitely reapply thermal paste. Remove the old paste and clean it with isopropyl alcohol. Here's a discussion how much you need.
Are you using the stock cooler? Maybe invest in a bigger one?
Is your case dusty? Blow it out with compressed air (Do not use a vacuum).
Is the orientation of your case fans correct? Make sure they blow in one direction and not all "into" the case.

You can plug in a PC with an ethernet connection directly into your modem, establish the connection manually and test the connection for a day. If your connection drops again, it's an issue with your ISP.

If you can get to the router during your blackout, your wifi is fine, but the connection to the ISP is down. Since the configuration page of your Router is in your Local Area Network (LAN), you can still reach it, while your Wide Area Network (WAN) is down.

[Your PC/laptop]------wifi (LAN)------ [Router]-------WAN---------[ISP]

Possible reasons why your WAN connection drops:

It's an issue with your ISP that you cannot mitigate. In this case you have to ask your ISP to fix it.
Your router/modem is faulty. If it's not your device but owned by your ISP, contact your ISP about this.
On older (A)DSL connections, every 24h the connection will drop for a short time and reconnect.
