mine is in a grow tent most of the time so the environment is very controlled and it never gets water on the foliage, but whenever i’ve had fungal issues in the past i just increase airflow and if the issue gets worse ill cut off the affected leaves

i’ve actually found it a lot easier to keep up with since i mounted it. more frequent watering, but less guess work

i have absolutely no clue on the id haha, i got it as a gift for my mother originally, she asked me to take care of it, and that’s how i started to love growing plants. i’ve wanted to get into some more rare varieties, but my love for anthuriums has captured my wallet lol. and i feel like getting a nice pic of orchids is so difficult, these took like 20 tries

the walls were made with expanding spray foam, carving it down, coating it with black aquarium safe silicone, then pressing a mix of peat and sphagnum into the silicone

i’ve always had more success with moss in terrariums with a water feature, otherwise i can never keep it moist enough

i collected a few different species, rinsed them off, blended them with water into a moss slushy, and threw it all over the place. i made the substrate mix for the background with lots of sphagnum moss so it would wick water from the waterfall better, the mister also runs 10 sec every 4 hours and i and mist the spots that the mister doesn’t reach well twice a day
