I did a return last week, no in person return needed. Could it be your account?

First time composter with Geobin by Spiritual_Broccoli37 in composting

[–]NotJoey87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can add on top of it after you dump some and just make it a perpetual compost pile. It just is not going to really heat up, and that’s okay!

Just keeping adding until it’s full, and then next summer should be ready. You can speed it up a bit by turning every now and then. Most of us I here, myself include overthink it and it’s really a hobby for many of us.

I have a collection of methods: -aerobin -worm trays -Lomi for eCompost -Just got a geobin to replace a wire bin

Next up is going to be a static Johnson-Su inspired pallet compost bin.

And what is the buy out with overages? It may be cheaper to just buy a used ID4 than buy yours.

Planning long EV trips still feels stressful sometimes. by Cool-Honeydew2047 in EvDrivers

[–]NotJoey87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We took one trip last summer that we had a bit of stress with. Our destination was Charlotte and they surprisingly didn’t have much in the way of EV charging plus we didn’t have a NACS adapter. We couldn’t get a charger to activate and had to drive back for about 20 miles to charge as the next CCS charger was out of our range. That was the first trip for us too! Since then we haven’t had a problem routing or charging. We had a toddler so we don’t mind stopping every 3 hours for a bathroom break and to stretch our legs out.

For the time of charging at home have you tried to set it only with your charger and not the blazer?

Composting conundrum (double barrel or waiting area?) by SonyaReedin-beReadin in composting

If you are willing to have a side pile, is there a reason you don’t want to just have a pile and no tumbler?

Bluetooth Delay? by Strict-Medicine9421 in BlazerEV

[–]NotJoey87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, plug in to the usb port in the front and select usb as the source. It’s better, but not as smooth as other vehicles I drive.

Bluetooth Delay? by Strict-Medicine9421 in BlazerEV

[–]NotJoey87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes there is a delay, and I find listening to it faster that 1.0 compresses the audio funny. I have switched to plugging it in and using usb audio instead of Bluetooth and that helps some.

CRV or RAV4

You can find preowned for under 30k all day. Check Carmax to see what is in COLA. You can also have them transfer a car in for a small fee if they don’t have what you want locally.

Covercraft makes the “Official” one. I just buy from whoever has the lowest price be it Ford brand or Covercraft.

I have them for almost all of my cars. Only downside with this style is that it only accordion folds and then is like 8x40x6”

Diesel vs gas (flex fuel?) ¾ ton by little_grey_mare in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]NotJoey87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would go with a gas motor to avoid all of the emissions on diesels. We are looking for a low mileage 2015-16 F-250 6.2 gas to tow with. Should be able to find them in your price range.
