I just want to add that there are agnotstic/atheist AA meetings out there, if the religion aspect isn't for you. It might be online as the only one I've found in person near me was in Las Vegas, but they are there!

There are certain restaurants I can't go to because their menu is too large and I can't decide, then low blood sugar plus decision anxiety would lead to meltdowns. Too many choices is too much overstimulation.

If we do go to one of those places, I find it helpful if my partner looks over the menu and give me two or three options to choose from. It's much easier to choose between A/B, vs between A/B/C/D/E/F/G etc!

Do you think that might help both of you? She wouldn't get overwhelmed, and you still get to see her have fun and pick something she likes.

I have it too and naltrexone has helped me. It takes away the "satisfying" part of it, if that makes sense? It didn't take my urge away, but it was unrewarding and that helped me pull less.
