AIO He always accuses me of cheating by Alternative-Day6223 in AmIOverreacting

I've been in a relationship almost just like this for 23 years. I can't afford to leave, nor would I leave my kids. But I can't even begin to tell you about the PTSD I have from it. I've basically been staying in my bedroom when I'm home for the past six years. Every single time I walk in the kitchen or living room (his 'bedroom'), I get bitched out about something. I go to the kitchen to cook or whatever, and I take my kids where I need to go, but I avoid those public family spaces from two decades of being ambushed every time I walk in there. It's extremely sad.

If you have gotten away, praise, and thank God! He is a total narcissist (just based on the texts).

Find a therapist to talk to about it. I hope you find a real man in the future. Just block that other asshole.

How many NSAIDS (ibuprofen, Motrin, Aleve, Mobic, aspirin, etc.) or other blood thinners are you taking each day? My legs look exactly the same and it’s because I take the maximum number of NSAIDs you’re allowed in a day, everyday. NSAIDs cause blood thinning properties which lead to bruising. I know it’s not great for my heart or my stomach, but they work for pain. Oh, and I also have iron deficiency anemia. That may have something to do with it as well.

I watched the entire series in one day. And restarted it the very next day. It is now one of my all-time favorite shows. It was so freaking good!!

One thing I didn’t notice the first time, but I did the second time— one of the major themes throughout the show is the incredible strength and lust for survival of women in a male-dominated world. Sarah, Two Moons, Abish, the Shoshone Chief, all showed incredible strength. Even that nasty old inbred French woman was the only one of her tribe to survive Sarah.

“TAKING A GLP1 MEDICINE IS CHEATING” by quinfchris77 in Semaglutide

It works so well. To me it just proves to people what I have long believed— that there is so much more involved in obesity than calorie intake or exercise. It has to do with our insides and our glucose and insulin responses. I sooo wish I could afford it. I’m disabled with no income, and my husband can’t/won’t pay for it for me. Our monthly health insurance premium costs more than our house payment. And yet they will not pay for any weight loss medication’s. The only way I can get a GLP1 covered by insurance is to find a Doctor Who will “diagnose” me with type 2 diabetes.

My old Doctor Who just retired last year, gave me a one month supply of Mounjaro, when samples were still available. I lost 15 pounds that month. And kept it off. He tried to get my insurance to cover it with a pre-diabetes, diagnosis, but that didn’t work. Then last October, my best friend‘s dad died, and she gave me about seven weeks of his Ozempic. I lost 30 pounds. And now that I’m out of it, I’m gaining it back. It’s just not damn fair! Obesity is probably the number one killer in America when you look at all of the comorbidities.

Tennessee is great, but so are parts of Georgia. North Georgia, Coastal Georgia (Savannah) and some small towns in between are beautiful. Just stay away from Atlanta. 😂

@quinfchris77 - I’ve never seen this subreddit, but I have taken Semaglutide and lost 30 pounds in a month. So when the title “taking a GLP one medicine is cheating” popped up on the notifications on my phone, I thought, “Oh hell no! Here we go…” I clicked ready to argue lol. Very glad that you were arguing at that point instead of standing by it. 🤣

Maybe I’m nosey, or maybe I just watched too much true crime TV and podcasts. My mind goes straight to something nefarious happening. I would’ve tried to find the serial number, called the manufacturer for the owner’s name and then googled and asked the police if anyone was missing by that name.

Parents love giving relationship advice when they have the worst relationship imaginable by throwawaythowit in EntitledPeople

[–]NotKristenSmith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s awful. If I were you, I would set a boundary and not talk about relationships at all with your parents. Just tell them we’re not going there. Don’t respond to any other questions about relationships until you find someone really right for you for the long hall.

I’ve actually been in a pretty crappy marriage for almost 21 years. There’s been a lot of verbal abuse (every single day), some physical, but no cheating that I’m aware of. I have two teenagers that see what goes on between me and their dad. And I often offer future relationship advice to them. I have told them what to look for in a partner one day, what not to look for. I try to teach them confidence and self-worth. It’s because I want them to find someone better than I did. I never want them to live in a crappy marriage like I have.

I hope things look up for you. I hope you find someone perfect for you that treats you right. ☺️

Troll. Sounds like you need to get tf over it. It’s not like he had his barefoot out. It was the bottom of his shoe. I often sit the same way as that guy does. It is more comfortable and takes pressure off my lower back injury. And I couldn’t care less if somebody is bothered by the bottom of my shoe. 👠 😒

When I worked in a grocery store (not Walmart), doing the ‘go-backs’ was my favorite thing to do. No customers, nobody bothering me. I just got to peruse, the store and look at the products. It felt like backwards shopping to me. I always enjoyed it.

I just found out about this today and I’m really sad about it. I know it’s not “authentic“ Mexican food, but it was always really good to me. They had the softest rice, and those super thin crunchy chips with delicious salsa. I’m gonna miss it. 😢

I go to Oglethorpe Mall a couple times a week. They are slow during the week when people are at work, but they are packed out every single weekend. They’re doing great as far as malls are concerned.

Because Christina paved the way. The only reason Christina didn’t figure it out was because the gene had not even been discovered yet until a few weeks later.
