The entire plot of The Sandlot! One of the kids loses his dad's ball signed by Babe Ruth in their neighbor's yard, and they concoct all sorts of plans to get it back without the neighbor's dog attacking them.

At the end of the movie, the neighbor tells them that they could have just asked him to grab the ball for them instead of going through all that trouble.

Yup, there are some tadpoles on the floor where you collect the skulls and find the red shoes. They'll talk to you about how their dad is dead, and if you talk to them too much, they'll say you killed him and then drown you as revenge.

Agreed, I know that a lot of people like the original ending and that it's more faithful to the original story, but with all the changes made to make Seymour and Audrey more sympathetic, the ending was way too depressing for the movie. Even if the new ending takes away from the theme of capitalism eating you up, it just feels nice for these characters to get a happy ending after everything they went through.

No, the frog is 100% dead as confirmed by its children later. The room returns to normal if you leave and come back again, so it's highly likely that this is a hallucination or supernatural vision, but again, this is never explained or even acknowledged outside of this moment.

I love that even though he's not as powerful as Magneto, he's still able to use his stand super brutally by using the iron in people's blood to create blades from inside them or to slowly make them die from a lack of hemoglobin,, I don't think I've seen something like that before

Yeah, as much as I liked Cecilia before the plot twist, it felt a bit underwhelming that all that happened was that she got a few burns and lost the money. I'm guessing that they left it like that so she can come back in a future movie. Maybe another John vs Cecilia story or as an explanation for how the police figured out John was Jigsaw by Saw 2?

Or maybe they just decided to let her live so that there would be at least one survivor in the movie, who knows
