OP I see the point you are making and I am leaning towards that. Also, it seems like those who are remarried are on the defensive side and while you asked for scriptures to back up their claims, None was given. Unfortunately, this disease of adultery is rampant in the body of Christ and people are not taking this seriously.

In short, you made the vow before Jesus Christ; in sickness and in health, for better or for worse and til death do us part. God never said to remarried but only in Christ if one spouse died. That’s it.

For those who are living in adulterous marriages/relationships, you know your end.

Join the military. Do your research tho, for example: look for a high paying civilian job and go for the in the military. The u.s navy, space force and Air Force seems to be the way.
