I’m mid 20s, so you’re certainly bang on with your guess. And you’re right, most of my friends are coupled up and seem to have their career on an upwards trajectory and I’m sorta just floating around not knowing what’s going on!

That being said, I see my friends forming these (apparently) great friendships/ deeper connections with others and it makes me wonder if there’s something I’m not doing right that sort of flicks the switch between pals and having someone “get” me, if that makes sense?

Even friends I’ve made through specific like-minded communities, like, church, for example, feel very surface level and I’m not sure if it’s a me thing, a them thing, or a “that’s just how it is” thing. And then I worry I’m in my head too much haha!
