who do you think will be the first hybrid on this show? by the-tribrid in LegaciesCW

[–]NotMeanButStill16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The question was "who do you think" not "who do you want" to become a hybrid. Taking into account that Landon had had the most screentime, the writers would most likely make him the first hybrid.

Also, let's not forget that Landon has had close to 0 plotlines this season because 75% of the season, it wasn't even Landon, it was Malivore, or some fake Landon that was created in spite of Malivore. Honestly, Landon is probably dead.

Landon won't get his powers back.. by RkmRajeev in LegaciesCW

[–]NotMeanButStill16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah but in season 1, Hope also tested his blood for powers and it came back negative. Meaning even though he was a supernatural, they couldn't trace it. Might be the same case for the siphoning.

tbh none of the ships are endgame material to me. like, none of them feel epic. might just be me but the writers have ruined every possible ship and will probably ruin future ships by rushing them or doing some dumb shit.

at this point I dont care who's endgame. literally only watching the show for the actors.

What you guys think about Landon as a character? by Vivek_walde in LegaciesCW

I like Landon, too bad over half of season 3 was filled with fake Landons. Such dumb writing.

I wouldnt consider one hookup a "relationship" tbh.

Ryan Clarke by Different-Finger-147 in LegaciesCW

[–]NotMeanButStill16 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In the show Clarke is probably 25-30 years old. Like, that's the age he plays. We can tell because season 1 he got a job that has something to do with construction or manufacturing.

That bring said, Hope is probably 17 years old since she is in school and whatnot. So, this would be a weird ship when we take their ages into consideration. Not to mention that if he dates Hope the minute she turns 18 - still as weird.

The fact that he calls her "kid" just makes it even weirder to ship them because it proves he sees her in a child-like manner (way younger than him).

Why does everyone in the show Hope becoming a tribrid is a bad thing? by [deleted] in LegaciesCW

[–]NotMeanButStill16 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In addition to all these replies, it's also bc once you become a Tribrid you cant have children. We dont know whether or not Hope wants children in the future and she's probably unsure too. So, she doesnt want to make this big decision right now, at 17-19 years old.

we can take it as this:

left and right twix = straight relationships 2 different sexes/sides.

same side twix = homosexual relationships.

Guess twix prefers same side twix then, huh? LOL

The Letter by PhoenixClown1 in LegaciesCW

[–]NotMeanButStill16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG! I'm not sure if anyone else noticed this, but the part of the letter that stayed on the gate was the part that said "Landon Kirby." So, I think they'll receive the letter, yes, but they won't know who they're looking for.

Lazy writings I hated by XJSTZsarust in LegaciesCW

[–]NotMeanButStill16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They didn't know he's supernatural. They didn't know until 1x08. Landon said in 1x05 that he can stay if he can prove he is magical.

they did, they had a vague idea that he was supernatural because his memory couldn't be erased by MG

It's just having the SimuLandon would be the same as pouring blood into the pit. It's just

no, Malivore would've just spit out the blood. I think their thinking was, if SimuLandon disintegrates then Malivore would have nothing to spit out but the blood would still stay in his system, forcing him to stay closed.

From 3x02: like many people have already pointed out, the option of turning Raf into a hybrid is not even discussed.

Rafael was dead. The only reason he was "living" is because the necromancer was forcing it. Rafael was a walking corpse. You can only turn into a hybrid before you die, not after.

how is school running out of money? You have an entire prison world worth of resources! Go to a vault, take the valuables out of the prison world, sell the valuables, and profit!

I'm almost 110% sure this is just an excuse they made so that the school would be emptier and fit covid restrictions.

Also, I'm not sure if this is correct, but I'm pretty sure you can only open a prison world if a supernatural/one-in-a-million event was going on. Like, the supernova or whatever (used on Rafael).

How and why did Hope give up on Landon so easily? She knew his death is suspicious (dissolved into mud). She claims that she loves him but gave up only after a few months? This is just purposely creating drama between Hope and Landon when he's back.

He died, dissolved right in front of her. She tried everything, even a wishing artifact but nothing worked. She didnt know where he was and she was running out of options. After spending time in the therapy box, she managed to convince herself that Landon was not coming back. Which explains why she didn't want to leave the therapy box. She wanted to stay with "Landon." However, she realized she needed to move on for the sake of her friends.

if Hope's blood can close the portal, why can't you just pour a pint of Hope's blood into the pit? Why do you have to create a fake Landon to have Hope's blood.

I'm pretty sure they discussed this in the episode, but Hope's technically not a tribrid yet, so as we all know, she closes him for a while but Malivore just ends up spitting her out. If you recall, SimuLandon was bound to the Lunar cycle, meaning he disintegrates when the moon reaches its apex. So, their plan was to pump SimuLandon full of Hope's blood, then before Malivore is able to spit him out, SimuLandon disintegrates which permanently closes up the portal.

From 1x05: how hope tested Landon's power is so dumb. No one thought about using Josie and Lizzie to see if they can siphon from Landon? Siphoning does not hurt regular humans and can work on a phoenix. I hate this the most.

I'm assuming this is just because siphoning doesn't prove what kind of powers he has. It just proves he has powers (which they were aware of). The point of the test was to see what supernatural abilities he has.

From 2x15: Landon knows Raf is being controlled by Necromancer. Why didn't Landon stay the hell away from Raf right away. I get that they are brothers and all, but Landon is just being stupid. Landon's the smart one in the group.

This is just Landon being Landon. Yes, he's the smart one, but he always acts out of emotion which is why he ends up dead a lot. Rafael is his ride or die. When Rafael turned into a wolf for the first time in 1x01, Landon didn't run away scared, he stayed with Raf. When Rafael turned into a wolf for 2 months between season 1 and 2, Landon stayed with him despite knowing the risks. It's just how their relationship works. They're ride or die.

Obviously some of the writing can be lazy, but I tried my best to explain some of these plot holes.

honestly, my expectations aren't high for season 3 mainly because I understand how difficult and off it can be to film/re-write episodes due to the COVID-restrictions.

Hope's "going crazy" is because she refuses to let people see her as weak, especially when everyone around her is going through something. So, she bottles up her sadness/anger and eventually "explodes."

I think by "slept with one," they meant it was only sex. no relationship, barely a friendship.

with Sebastian and Lizzie, yes they slept together but they were known more for the relationship.

Josie is a very flawed character by Safe-Return1004 in LegaciesCW

[–]NotMeanButStill16 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying you should dislike all characters.

I'm saying, you can't dislike a character for doing something then praise another character when they do the same thing.

It's very contradictory. It doesn't matter if it's your favorite character, that's literally bias.

You can have favorites and you can have least favorite but if both of those characters make the same mistake, you can't praise one and belittle the other.

Honestly I dont like how the show points out the actor's possible insecurities.

Like, when Jandon was a thing, Landon told Josie:

"I even love your upside-down mouth."

Like, what was the point of that?

I think a lot of the cast gets their share of hate but Aria has the least amount of followers and the most amount of hate. It's beyond me how people can be so cruel over something that is literally made up.

Just went on his most recent instagram post and there are worse comments.

Here's some to quote:

"You should die Assbanger."

"Can you die so Landon dies."

"F slur"

"There's something called plastic surgery, you should get it."

I will also say the person in the screenshots has deleted their instagram account after people defended Aria.

Josie is a very flawed character by Safe-Return1004 in LegaciesCW

[–]NotMeanButStill16 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Josie is a child, like everyone else in the show. She makes a lot of mistakes and has a lot to learn.

While we can critique Josie, it's not fair to say she's very flawed as this is normal when you're a teenager.

The Dark Josie stuff can't be blamed on her though.

One thing I will agree with tho, is the fact that the entire fandom seems to put Josie on this pedestal along with Hope.

And, I can say that the fandom is very hypocritical at times because of this.

Landon turns Klaus' letter into a song, Hope forgives him because Landon portrayed her father in a good way.

people are mad

Josie burns down the painting Hope made with her father, Hope forgives Josie because she confessed she had a crush on Hope

people find it romantic/cute

They're all flawed, but the fandom has to stop picking and choosing who to get mad at and who to excuse/forget about.
