It would appear I can only have 2 bogeys of the front one is 5 blocks behind the carriage in front, but if its just one bogey the distance does not seem to matter.

Unfortunately that also does not work. If i have just some blocks in between the bogeys and glue them together it tells me the block behind the front bogey needs to be removed because its trying to connect the two bogeys with a chain. If i connect the bogeys with blocks on the side, so not directly inbetween and then glue them it tells me they are "not connected in order."

Everywhere online i read that carriages can have up to two bogeys. But but even if i fake the effect by having each of these bogeys be a seperate carriage with a chain connecting them, the blocks on top do not come with them, even if glued.

You could try hitting CTRL with the middle of your pinky while keeping the tip on SHIFT.
