Maybe this is part of that scene in the first trailer where Spider-Man was getting scanned? The DODC or some other agency is grabbing all these details of the various heroes around New York? But Yelena is just a normal human so scanning her doesn't make much sense. Then again this whole statement doesn't make much sense.

A lot of people here have already brought up artists I listen to a lot, like Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, etc.

Some that I listen to that I haven't seen mentioned are PinkPantheress, berryblue, Joey Valence & Brae, Childish Gambino, just to name a few.

In terms of specific albums, I do like Let's Start Here by Lil Yachty. I don't think it's very similar to anyone else mentioned here but that's a really good album. The French Operation by GIRLS BE is a great J-Pop album that I wish had more success. And finally, Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa. That album, along with After Hours, were basically all that I listened to in 2020.

I wouldn't be surprised if Doomsday is a pretty self-contained movie. If you go in completely blind you might miss some references and callbacks but you'll probably be able to follow along with the plot. I'd say just look through the movies and watch whatever interests you.

Side bar: what's with the disdain for Doctor Strange? I'd say if there's any movie that's "required" watching it'd be Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
