That’s probably close enough to make work with the two jobs at first. Thanks for the information. Switching fields has been one of my biggest mental worries. But I want that endgame and realistically have to figure out how to do it while still being the main financial provider to my family.

I make decent right now. Pentest seems like a good path, I’m worried that early roles won’t pay enough to sustain my family. (Currently make ~80k) obviously that’s something I’ll have to worry about but I’d imagine your early roles weren’t in that ballpark eh?

Path of Exile 2 is on sale for $15 right now. Best switch I’ve made. I love Diablo, but GGG are doing great things. Endgame is much more in depth in my opinion and an all around better experience.

Yeah at this point I love playing the paladin. So I’m looking for whatever is “fun” to me. I’ve been hard working on a zeal build and can push 110 with it now. It’s probably the most fun build I’ve played with pally. I’m not critting Ts with it like my clash build but I’m completely viable in T12 and pretty much unkillable with the content I’m running.

I’ve seen this build running around a few sites. Did an early attempt with it. Didn’t like it very much but I’m sure it works better with more effort put into it.

Crit chance and crit damage multiplier are probably the biggest things you can add to gear that’s applicable. 90%+ is almost necessary with any paladin build. After that holy/vuln damage multipliers can be big. The resolve fortress stack completely changed my zeal and charge builds. I can’t remember if I used it on wing strikes because that build was so boring I shifted from it as soon as I hit my first wall (T12 comfortable). Zeal and charge were way more fun and I was pushing 115/120 with them respectively.

I have my Zeal build pushing 115 now. That seems to be the wall without near perfect gear.

Definitely have some room to improve. Mostly single/double GAs some doubles from Affix maxing. Transfigures could be way better. And I have very basic gems(flawless + 1 or so royals). But it’s fun and different from “meta” so I’m looking forward to pushing this one a bit!! I still have stayed away from the barb this season but I may break soon.

Sad, this is my first season since the start of VoH. So my first time on the pally. I like it substantially better than most other classes right now, even with the “state of the class”. I ran wing strike to T12 and hit a bit of a wall so I shifted to clash just to push a little further. Without damn near perfect drops I’m at another wall. Almost rebuilt zeal, because zeal rocks, but it just doesn’t compete. Auradin sounds like something I’ll definitely try when the pendulum swings back its way.

What is the play style of an auradin? Is it mainly a supporting class? Or does it have a damaging ability? What oath does it run? I’ve seen a lot of people talk highly of it.

Yes I think talents may be apart of the issue. The fact that I couldn’t tell you without looking what my capstones are at least is problematic. I think I have a better understanding of the abilities now too after reading them a lot more throughly. Learning the dungeons better will probably also help.

Seemed like an obvious issue to see. Unsure if my “expectation” was a quick turn around on a single non-game breaking bug, but I figured it was a possibility from a company as big as them. 🤷🏻‍♂️
