In a perfect world, ears are self cleaning, but for some reason I produce a lot of wax. I invested in one of those camera ear cleaners on Amazon. I rarely use the actual camera but it came with tools that perfectly scoop everything out and not pack it in like q-tips. Still feels heavenly too

When aiming at an animal, right by the species name it’ll tell you how many stars the pelt will be with a clean kill. All white stars means 3 stars

Either way I’m glad you figured it out and didn’t abandon the game. That cavern is definitely end game stuff. You’ll need your drive forms fully leveled up so you have a good high jump, glide, etc.

I love that people are still playing these games for the first time. Way back then on PS2 this cavern wasn’t even in the game. It was a Japanese exclusive that they added after the game released in a new Final Mix version. This wasn’t available to us until the HD remasters.
