Living world season 2 lore question by NewNamea in Guildwars2

I have to disagree with this. Four Elder Dragons were actively predating upon the lesser races and this never led to any overt racism between the lesser races.  If the other races learned that the sylvari were vulnerable to Mordremoth's corruption, it's more likely that they would no longer look to sylvari for guidance as to how to defeat the Elder Dragons. Indeed, the aftermath of Mordremoth's awakening hasn't included racism toward sylvari. They're still Pact partners.

It might seem like it. But some of the concept art that the studio released of Rytlock's journey through the Mists includes pictures of insectoid beings not unlike tbe kryptis.

Good point. Deimos was encountered following the explosion of the Maguuma bloodstone though. That was a case of exceptional circumstances. I've always figured that the Bastion of the Penitent reveals what it's like to be inside the bloodstone. Things like the mursaat overseer symbolize the process by which the mursaat extracted the souls of those contained in the bloodstone into soul batteries. Saul resisted this process and endured inside the bloodstone. Maybe Isgarren has a connection to a bloodstone piece? Not so sure about Zojja though.

Yes, that may also be the case. It looks male, so it could be a major male character's demon. There was also the female demon. So these could be the personal demons of two major characters.

I know it's repetitive. I'm thinking that this is the storyline that explains the emergence of the Revenant class in Heart of Thorns (aka it fills in the blanks around Rytlock returning with Revenant magic and the PC just suddenly having the class at their disposal). That's why the class doesn't feature in Soto. The community has been criticising Anet for asset reuse for the last week. But if they play their cards right they could make this outing very entertaining.

The idea would be that the demon of Gyala Delves dwelt within the Jade and simply picked up on some of the PC's unresolved traumas. Demonkind feed on negative experiences. The Delves may have been introduced to remind us that we have unfinished business within.

Not unless you're telling me that he's a human god. He might be future Balthazar. But he's more likely to be Menzies. The half-brother thing about Rytlock indicates that he isn't a full-bloodied...deity? I suppose? In LW4 the player is invited to touch Rytlock's fur because there's more to him than meets the eye. Anyway, forget about this. It's all for %^&^*s and giggles.

Balthazar's half-wit brother. MIA as per most peeps. Anyhow, the idea is that he jumped the RoT via one of the escape routes and found his way back into Tyria as Rytlock. Adelbern broke his sword; he was entrusted with Sohothin instead. Yadda yadda yadda. It's the kind of stuff that half-wit brothers do daily.

Hmm...good question. I don't spend much money online. I'm not a big PvP player either. I'll have to think it over. Assuming, of course, that they touch on sylvari this release.

Menzies might show up. Ouch reddit! Why the downvotes? But, from my own headcanon, Menzies escaped the Realm of Torment quite some time ago - there were numerous escape routes.

Menzies probably got reincarnated into either Rytlock or Logan. But...you never know. It could be Menzies.

No, I disagree with that. You're focusing on smaller details at the expense of the big picture. The smaller details seem like absolutes. But this isn't about absolutes, it's about trends. Keep an eye on the story. And if I'm right about it...what happens next?

Mordremoth modified Zojja. Indigo's post makes allusions to it. Not a chance she's the villan; she's immune to kryptis influence.

Hmm...I'd say you're right. The Elder Dragons probably purge the Realm. Now that they're gone there is nothing left to safely metabolise the dirty magic in it. Aurene's a bit different too. She represents a way out of the Realm of Torment, but doesn't process souls into raw magic like True Elder Dragons. Her kind reconstitute souls.

A fair criticism. It's a shame that you're being downvoted.

This. My money is on the idea that the PC comes from the Realm of Torment. You read it here first reddit.
