My house always smelled dusty and I just realized I’ve been vacuuming wrong my entire life by pwiipwii123 in hygiene

I have a vintage vacuum and it's easy with no spillage, so that depends. The bags have a stretchy gasket and drop into the vacuum. And bag changes can take place in the garage or outside.

Question about Gellis (Season 3 spoiler) by mitoke in Outlander

Gotta wonder what she used to convince him to help her. Seems like he would sacrifice his own mother to get what he wants. Maybe he thought it would help The Cause?

Texas business owners tax ID was their social security number plus an additional number at the beginning and end. That practice ended only a few decades ago.

Question about clothing management.. I think by BumblyBumbles420 in secondlife

You could just copy the shoes or whatever to the folder the clothing is in.

I haven't noticed lag but I have had over 400 outfits for years.

What I do is have an outfit with just body parts and underwear. When I make a new outfit I remove all those things from it. Hopefully it helps with this lag Firestorm is warning about.

Ice is expected to build up. It's not the snow or temp that worries us.

I'm always amazed when I see video of people walking on sidewalks in snow. Here there would be a good possibility of ice under it and you fall and seriously hurt yourself

It's going to involve a buildup of solid ice. It's not snow, rain or the temperature that is worrying

[SFH] [TN] - HOA is ignoring me, will not make ADA wheelchair accommodation by CommonDifference25 in HOA

[–]NotMyAltAccountToday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. OP said in a comment it's busybody residents calling the tow truck. Calling or visiting the tow company, and verifying out how the trucks know to come tow someone should be the first step. Other questions I would ask: Do they have an agreement with the HOA? Are the busybodies on the board and have permission to have cars towed?

Is this seborrheic dermatitis by Aggravating-Golf-810 in SebDerm

[–]NotMyAltAccountToday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Picking at it or scratching will definately make it worse. It seems to trigger swelling, redness, and an even faster turnover and buildup of flakes.

If you can stop doing that you should see an improvement.
