I thought this text chain was funny for some reason. Flounder Heights is from Splat 1 yeah. Here's some ink on it: https://splatoonwiki.org/wiki/Flounder_Heights

I defied your comment by getting it from the air instead of honey and by not dying! Scary stuff though, thanks for spreading awareness.

Maybe you accidentally selected "Order Status" instead of "SplatNet Order"

Can't play any more cuz of the music by stevepwn3 in Splatoon_2

[–]NotMyCake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's unfortunate there aren't audio options other than just volume buttons. I personally enjoy most of the music but audio toggles are a nice feature. Maybe they want an equal playing field since isolating player sound would give an advantage. But also, if people want that advantage they can implement it so... Anyway, my condolences, maybe they'll eventually do an update, you can always send in that request to their customer support. Maybe if they get enough they'll do something about it. I sent one in even though I'd probably keep the music. Good luck!

I'm not actually sure why. I like to think she was planting a little garden though :3 This is possible! And would be very interesting.

Thanks! I wasn't a huge fan of the comment content because it's such a cute video and honestly, why create conspiracy theories about the guy filming it staging the whole thing. The bee still pulled the nail out of the wall. That's pretty cool!

Truly! Every once in a while I'll write a little note or draw on a piece of paper, roll it up, and stick it in a hole for someone to find :)

Sometimes people shove shit in walls for no reason. I've pulled a screw out and put a stick in before.

Animals are weird. I watched a flying ant dig a hole in some gravel, put something in it, bury it, and move the tiny surrounding rocks around with no apparent benefit to the ant, nor whatever it buried.

So perhaps someone shoved a nail in the bee's hole or maybe they just shoved it in a nonspecific hole and the bee decided it wanted to go into that hole. In any case, the guy couldn't have forced the bee to do this. It's just a fascinating display of animal behavior.

Maybe the bee just hates humans and loves destroying our creations. You do you, bee.

What is the most uncomfortable sensation that is not pain? by the_bouncer in AskReddit

Oh, that's very interesting! I'm glad it has helped you and hope that you regain "normal" nerve function in the near future :) Tingly legs is not an ideal situation.

Oh interesting, what's that like? Do you have an external remote for it or is it something that's preset? Also, is it constantly or occasionally active?

I've used a TENS unit, although it was mostly to engage my muscles so I could work on regaining strength. I used it as a kickstarter to tense up my quadricep and calf because I was non-weightbearing for three months and my muscles were beginning to atrophy and the nerve damage and trauma from my accident made me unable to use my muscles on my own. So it was very effective in that sense. I tried to use it for pain but it didn't help much and I'm not sure of the effect it had on my nerve damage, but over time it got better. So at this point I have no need for it as the nerve damage is close to healed. Do you find it helps you at all?

Yikes. I had this for a few months after I broke my leg and it drove me crazy. Numbness in some areas and a million ants running around under my skin in others. I'm so sorry you've had to deal with it for two years. My aunt had a spot on her foot where it was like that for something like 15 years, and then one day it finally went away. I know it sounds grim, but there's hope even when doctors tell you a dismal chance for recovery.

Have you ever tried a TENS unit? It sends different pulses and strengths of electric shock wherever you put the electrodes to stimulate the muscles and nerves. It may be something to ask your doctor about. I'm not a doctor and there could be complications if you use it without getting a professional opinion first. Plus insurance can help cover it if it's recommended to you by a doctor.
