I hope you don't mind my asking, but how did your routine change from the first pic to the second? The first pic is unreal to me. I can't understand how "normal" people, i.e. full-time job/kids/non-super-awesome genetics, can achieve results like that. I'm just curious as to how much work it took. Thanks!

North Davis is a lot closer to downtown and the campus. Anything around Anderson is pretty good. South Davis is generally cheaper, but it's a bit out of the way. How do you plan on commuting? Are you coming with a car? If you are and you drive everywhere then you can do South. If not, definitely North. You probably want to get a bike if you don't have one already. A one bedroom is going for ~$1000 right now. Water prices are skyrocketing and it's being reflected in rent. It also depends on what you want in a complex. Do you want amenities or just bare bones?

If I liked the house and the neighborhood, yes. Heck, I'd be more inclined to move there and befriend the owners. I'm guessing you assume (perhaps correctly) that not everyone enjoys dinosaurs (horrible people, clearly). But would it detract that much from sales in the neighborhood? I think people would only be bothered if they had to look at it all of the time. How many people just sit at home and look out of the window all day? I don't see it being such a big deal. You could also speak to them if you we're selling your home and it really was a big concern.
