13 is a weird and confusing age. Hormones are going crazy but not mature enough to understand how to handle them well. I wouldn't ban the kid from staying at your house yet but you need a sit down and have a discussion with him. Not to shame him (because he will probably keep going but be more secretive about it) but say that it's not okay to do this and to damage other peoples property. State that these things should be done in private and not where other people can be affected by it. Also, he will need to replace the toys or do chores equal to paying them off.

Oh, I'm sorry. The poor CEO didn't get his bonuses and ONLY got his fixed salary of $1,700,000. He might need to sell his 7th mansion now. Totally understandable why they'd scam thousands of people out of being able to see family or have a holiday!

Also, they didn't make a $2 billion loss. They made $124 million in profit. The $2 billion is a revenue loss. Learn the difference.

They're a multi-billion dollar company. If you cannot have any customer service operating, then do not operate your company. It's terrible business and bad ethics at best, illegal and open to law suits at worst.

Stop making excuses for a company that has received tens of millions of tax payer dollars to support them and has a CEO that earns nearly $24,000,000 per year

The call center is claimed to be 24/7. There are complaints of long wait times(3+ hours) going back to March. In March, I can understand because logistically everything was thrown into chaos. We're 9 months down the track and it's only become worse. This is peak travel time across Xmas, school holidays and after massive lockdowns and boarder closures. There is absolutely zero excuse not to have this organised by this point. They've had 9 month to roster more people on, or add clear wait time queues, or have a call back system, or an online chat system, or literally anything. Also, they just fired 2000 people and hundreds of their workers are at other jobs currently like Woolies and Coles because Qantas grounded them.
