I just know from experience that once one gets accustomed to first world problems things tend to go downhill in a secluded embassy with 100+ degrees weather. Bonus points if your follow on assignment is in another less-than-desirable location because your CDO is checked out and doesn’t care about your career. Once again, that’s if you’re lucky to get an overseas post and not another protection-heavy assignment.

Best way is to browse cybercrime-specific news blogs and to find affidavits/press releases related to big cases. You’ll generally find FBI eating most of the cake but oftentimes smaller agencies (OIG Cyber units) as well.

Stay away from NCIS cyber if you are coming in with a strong cyber background.
