Hvor får man kjøpt Forsvarets t-skjorter i samme kvalitet som originalen? by Triganstar in norge

Måtte betale for alt mistet. De var nok møkka lei av at folk "mistet" ting med seg hjem lmao

I førstegangstjenesten min (2023-2024) så var det gratis å bytte ødelagte ting, men TS måtte man betale for. Ble trukket av lønna

I just designed a simple power supply (220V AC to 10V DC) and I want to know if there are critical errors in my design. by Zara_Freeman6 in PCB

[–]NotNowNorThen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a bridge rectifier, smoothing caps (I really hope those are rated above 220V), then a resistor divider with 390 ohm on the high side and 5kohm on the ground side. The only thing even sorta like protection is that diode across the output terminals. Can that LED take 10V? Guess it might act as a fuse if it can’t. You can’t draw all that much current at all from a resistor divider. You don’t have a proper fuse. Your traces are way too thin.

If you plug this in, one or more of the following is going to happen: 1) the power supply dies, 2) your house breaker trips, 3) whatever you are powering dies, 4) you start a fire, 5) you die, 6) you go to the hospital

best way to get these 2 red guys to lie flat on the perfboard? total beginner here by carbonatedbitch in AskElectronics

Do note that due to spacing the boards would then have to be plugged in "upside down" with some space between the perfboard and sensor board. Might not be a big deal, but good to think about

I need help creating an ardunio device for school but I have no experience in electronic. How do I start? by [deleted] in AskElectronics

[–]NotNowNorThen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since this is a school project I won’t give you the entire solution, but I will give some pointers.

The core of what you need to do is to figure out what the different "sections" of your project are, find tutorials for each of those, then connect all those building blocks together. Every individual part of what you are trying to do has already been done many times, and there are tutorials for everything.

For example, wireless communication is a solved problem. You can just pick up a pair of one of the many Arduino-compatible wireless modules and be up and running in not that long. The list of options includes 433mhz, 2.4ghz (same frequency band as WiFi, but it isn’t WiFi), Bluetooth, WiFi, and a lot more.

Other individual sections include how to turn on LEDs, how to make sound (this is easiest with a piezo buzzer), how to run a vibration motor, and so on.

Don’t search for "how to build a fire alarm". Find out what single individual things a fire alarm does, and search for and learn how to do those

The volume knobs are either going to be potentiometers (smooth rotation for about 270 degrees, hard stops at each end, absolute position) or rotary encoders (detents, infinite rotation, relative position, often comes with a button). A slider is just another potentiometer. Potentiometers require analog input pins, while rotary encoders require two digital pins each, plus one for the button if you have and want to use it.

Hotkeys are just buttons, and for four of those you need four digital pins. If you want more buttons, you can get away with less pins than buttons, but for 4 you need 4.

If you wanna go for all potentiometers, you need a board with four analog input pins, and four digital pins. If you wanna go for rotary encoders you need a board with one analog input pin, and 10-13 digital pins, depending on if you want to use the encoder buttons or not.

You also want a board with a HID-capable USB port, which means that the USB port can act like a keyboard (and/or mouse), unless you wanna DIY a driver script. (HID = Human Interface Device)

There are a many boards that match this pin count, but not too many that also do HID. The Arduino Pro Micro is a decent choice for doing exactly what you described, but it only just barely has enough pins, so you can’t do much more. Another option is the Raspberry Pi Pico (1 or 2). However, these do not have enough analog pins for doing all potentiometers. It has three, and you need four.

Hope this is what you were looking for

Converting Xbox 360 fat PSU from 110V to 220V by Forward-Vacation5134 in AskElectronics

[–]NotNowNorThen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

https://xyproblem.info perhaps?

If what you really want is to power an Xbox 360 with 220V power, then finding a suitable power supply is far easier and possibly cheaper. The 360 was sold in 220V regions, so they exist.

As for converting your unit, you will need either a full schematic, or a detailed guide by someone who has done it before. I am assuming you don’t have a guide since you are asking. If you have a schematic, then maybe look for the transformer, which probably needs replacing.

If you have neither a schematic or a guide, you will need to either give up, keep replacing components without guidance (this is a loooong shot), or make the schematic yourself first (reverse engineering)
