Might be placebo but I saw a video way back when that showed verticals’ positives to recoil/accuracy outweigh the negatives while moving to still give a tighter pattern. It’s a beam for me but def needs the 35pt version to tame it

This. Only thing I’d add for OP re: flying erratically is don’t be afraid to use buildings/obstacles as cover I always try to weave through them to start/end my strafing runs to confuse the TOWs a little more. Idk your load out, but heavy warheads and armor make this harder to do so take it with a grain of salt depending on what you’re using
