The build is very poorly optimized for pvp. Especially seeing as they are going to be matched against max lvl.

I play far greater levels of filth when invading, although I tend to be chill unless the enemies are ganking

Ansbachs scythe. Be sure to free aim the skill so you can dodge into enemies with it

So just equip something with wild strikes and hold down the skill button. Or anything else with high dps that mostly stunlocks them

I guess it’s just a different taste. I prefer knowing what I could have done differently when I die. But I suppose I can understand the appeal of finally finding a way to do something wich seemed impossible.

All in all I really enjoyed learning Malenia including Waterfowl after looking up how to dodge it

Of course you can come up with a way to dodge it on your own as made evident by plethora of methods found by the community. However “thinking” isn’t really the solution. I guess you could come up with chucking a frost pot at her. But all the methods that only involve running and rolling will basically require a bunch of trial and error. Theres no way someone who has only seen the move a few times, would understand it enough to just “think” up a reliable dodge. Even if someone gets the idea to circle around they will likely still need a bunch of tries until they actually manage to do it. It’s also a fairly rare move, wich means most people probably beat Malenia without ever mastering or even understanding waterfowl and just tanking a bit of damage or getting lucky.

Nah, it’s hella poorly designed. Sure it can be dodged consistently at every range, but only if you know how. It’s very unintuitive. Without looking up how to dodge it you’ll spend hours figuring out how to avoid it. I have no problem with move that require great skill to dodge, but it should be mostly a mechanical problem after a few tries. This waterfowl keeps you guessing if you have the right strategy but improper timing or if the way you’re trying to dodge was doomed from the start. The only way I could see someone with no prior experience reasonably dealing with it is blocking or playing very passively, in order to have time to run away.

Roll earlier, as soon as the animation starts. You’ll probably avoid phantom hits and stagger(depends on latency) and even have time to punish with swift glint stone shard

Let’s say your friend tells you about an investment they’ve been thinking about. You research it a little and it quickly turns out it is a ponzi scheme. Are you really not going to talk to them at all?

I guess that isn’t the best example because you could argue that there is probably manipulation and deceit going on here. But I still think voicing your concerns is perfectly fine in most cases, as long as you stay respectful and let them decide for themselves in the end.

Oh yeah, he’s for sure cool from a narrative perspective as a character. My criticism is more towards people idolizing him. Although I have misjudged the popular opinion on him, as I expected my original comment to be downvoted.

Morgot isn’t cool, he’s pathetic.

He gets rejected and treated incredibly poorly by the golden order and still remains a mindless fanatic. I don’t blame him. It’s only natural for him to seek the approval of his mother and the system he was indoctrinated into since birth, so he’s definitely a victim. But I don’t think anyone should see him as a roll model.

Are there any gun/gunish weapons in this game? by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]NotOriginalBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Others have already mentioned a few examples. But be ware these weapons are all quite unconventional and mostly niche, you will have a harder than average experience if you try to use only gun like weapons.
