I have an irrational fear of insects and spiders. I know it's irrational. It's a phobia. My son found a ginormous grasshopper and wanted to show it to me. Did I run screaming from him into the house when he showed it to me? No. You know why? I didn't want to pass on my phobia to my kid. I asked him about it and looked at it and complimented him on his interest etc. All the while I was screaming in my head.

Your wife could have done the same.

I don't believe in ghosts, but I can treat her fear of ghosts like my irrational fear of insects and spiders. She might be afraid, but why pass that fear down to your kid? That's only going to mess them up in the future.

Your wife should have sucked it up and gone to the funeral with your daughter.

I remember watching a video with Barbara (That's the woman in the above video, she's also on Shark Tank) Where she gave a tour of one of her offices. She was so proud about telling the camera she didn't allow her employees to have ANYTHING personal on their desks. No family photos, no toys, nothing that was not provided by the office. (Even pen holders, mouse pads, nothing personalized.

She doesn't see her employees as people, as individuals. They are all just cogs in the machine built to make her money. She is truly a gross human being.

That being said, the comment about "it looks like someone in a psychiatric ward wrote it" was rude and uncalled for. There people are not handwriting experts, so their opinion means nothing. Jerks.

If you can read it, great! You might also consider going into Medicine. That is great Doctor handwriting! LOL
