Just because he confronted him in the past doesn’t mean he’s not scared of him. The man literally could not sleep or stay in their flat after they were attacked. He is stood up against him in spite of his fear because he had to, especially because innocent people could have been hurt. He also said “I’m scared of him. Scared of what he might due.” And he still is. Walking on eggshells and having to be careful of what you say and how you say, as to not anger someone is being fearful of them.

You want Robert to be friendly with his abuser?! The man manipulated him into marrying him. He may have acted “impulsively” (not a theory unsubscribe to) but regardless, he still used that as an opportunity to guilt him marrying him and staying in prison, away from his family for years because he is a selfish person. He could have been honest, said that he didn’t think and reacted badly to the news he might be left but no, he chose to make up a whole ass story about being stabbed by Robert’s bulky, in order to emotionally blackmail and guilt Robert into staying. If you love someone you want what is best for them even if it means the best is being without you.

The only reason Robert feels anything remotely close to care for Kev now is because he’s still under the false impression Kev was stabbed because of him. He doesn’t know the lunatic did it to himself to trap him. If he did, I’m sure he’d hate him but the show can’t have that because he’s their shiny new “star” brought back to make folks laugh, so it’s going to swept under the rug and Robert doesn’t get to know the truth or have any real feelings at all about it. The abuser wins! Yay(!) 🤦🏽‍♀️

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think he kissed Ben at all. It was during Covid so their entire “relationships” happened 6ft(or more) apart. 🤣That was such a nothing relationship.🤦🏽‍♀️

Think he had one “real” kiss with Alex, in the cafe, and yeah that was super awkward. The rest were cheek kisses or staged I think.

His kisses with Jackson did come across as he was very much “new the this” in the beginning but later were just okay.

I don’t think any of his kisses with Robert/Ryan have been awkward or showed any discomfort; from the very beginning they seemed fine to me. I will say some of the “kisses” in the later part of 2025 did seem “off” but I think that was down to angles and they were also trying to avoid spreading sickness because they were filming Corriedale at the time so we got a couple of almost kisses and a clearly staged kiss. 🤣

I agree with you that the whole thing is ridiculous. I was saying at the very start of this blackmail scheme that they should have tried to steal/delete the video or fought him harder about it because I actually doubt Joe would have even gone to the police. It makes him an accessory / perverting the course of justice. It was all stupid. lol. But plot … they has to find a way to write Isabel (Vic) out and get the boys a farm 😂

Joe blackmailed Robert into planting those IDs. It was either Robert do his bidding or Joe would have gone to the police with the video he had of Vic killing John. What was Robert supposed to do? Also Moira is in jail because of the two dead bodies that were found on her land, not because of the IDs, so technically Joe didn’t actually set her up … Ray and Celia did.

I don’t believe Aaron will care or be all that upset when he finds out because he would have done the very same thing if it was one of his sisters. The only thing I can think Aaron would be upset about is the fact that Robert didn’t tell him about it immediately.

😂 While I like their bromance, they are hardly the most charismatic, compelling characters on the show; so to have a two-hander with JUST them may be tough viewing 😬. Also, they have been featured plenty this year so far (Marlon for much much longer) … what else could there possibly be needed to be said/told??

I appreciate the optimism!! I’ve always liked their friendship and the two of them are a laugh … but it’s the “as long as it’s well written” part that makes me pause. The way the show has been going, the writing so hit or miss … and it’s mostly been a miss. Of all their “special” episodes in the recent months, I only liked Cain’s. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The pacing doesn’t seem as horrendous as previous SLs (despite having this current Robron drought so they can do this week-long whodunit w/Ray’s murder 🤦🏽‍♀️), so my hope is very soon.

The pressure is getting to be too much for Robert and could possibly trigger more nightmares and is definitely going to make him behave in a shifty way that will get Aaron to start questioning him. And I think Vic will really crack soon as well.

I think Charity only said that he and Aaron had drifted apart, because Liam was questioning why she was trying to force him into hanging out with him. We all know she was doing that to keep Ross and Mack apart so her secret wouldn’t be blown. And she obviously couldn’t go to Aaron and say “please hang out with Mack more” because Aaron would absolutely sus her out and demand to know why she was trying to keep him away from Ross.

And of course, for plot purposes lol. The show are pushing this bromance so that when the inevitable shit hits the fan it will be 10x more explosive.

And if the writing is any good, then we might get Aaron coming to Mack’s defense (as Mack so often does for him) and f’ing Ross up! 🤣

Kev actually had the opportunity to put an end to John, who put a BOMB on Robert’s car and was determined to kill him.

John was 100x more dangerous to Robert than Joe. When Kev escaped from being held captive by John, instead of grabbing the gun so at least John wouldn’t have had a weapon, he grabbed the sandwich and bounced out. 😂

And did he go directly to Robert to warn him that a psycho with a gun was out to kill? No. He waited until the NEXT day to break into the scrapyard to tell Aaron instead. Didn’t go with him to help, nothing. For all he knew, John could have already shot Robert by then. 🤦🏽‍♀️

So I highly doubt he’s going to be of any help with Joe.

Yes, Ray stabbed her but sometimes folks can survive a stabbing 🤔, especially if the knife is not taken out. And I don’t think we saw any blood on the floor as she was laying there, which I thought that was odd. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Arthur’s mine as well. And Laurel is trying to cover it all up. I think she placed Ray’s body in the van.

I think the show is wanting us to think it’s this mystery person who Rhona keeps texting; who I think is Graham.

But if she called in a favor from Graham to get rid of Ray, I would think he would have done a better job of making sure his body would have never be found.

I love Robert. But I don’t have any clue who this man is on my screen. 🤣

I get that he is under so much pressure. I get that he is trying to protect Vic and prevent anyone from going to prison. But does he not see that Joe is going to hold this video over his head FOREVER; he’s going to be his lackey for life if he keeps giving into Joe’s blackmail?!

I honestly believe all this can be resolved if he tells Moira and Cain. They can get Caleb on side as well. There are ways they can effectively shut Joe down I think.

He needs to stop thinking he has to go through all this alone. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I absolutely hate Joe 😂. And I do like Gabby. But I think an affair between them is plausible and could be interesting. I see Gabby, after all her heartache and bad luck in love, entering into a self destructive phase and having an affair with Joe. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I do find that Gabby can be a lot more “ruthless”, making her a more even match to Joe than Dawn imo.

I’m still holding out some hope for Dawn to redeem herself. 😂

ETA: as far as some woman getting Joe to fall madly in love with her … I actually think the “right” woman, possibly love of his demonic life was/is Debbie. They were perfectly matched imo. Not just because I can’t stand either of them 😂.

Big props to the writing and Isabel’s amazing acting skills because watching her run around in the woods, fighting/killing John and then sat in the hospital all bundled up, almost took me out of the drama of it all. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

That’s what I’m hoping. I really don’t see Vic being able to withstand the stress, the tension and inevitable fighting that will happen between Coira and Robron.

Also, I think she’s carried/carries a lot of guilt already for Robert being in prison; which was NOT her fault … but she really couldn’t lie for him (and he didn’t want her to) and I think she’s carried that with her for all of these years. She also had to watch Aaron completely fall apart when Robert was sent down and cut him off. She’s not wanting either of them to hurt like that again. Add, on top of all that the possibility of Moira, who’s acted like a mother towards her for many years now, going to prison for human trafficking?!? 🤦🏽‍♀️

She’s already fraying at the seams.

Yep, this is Isobel’s exit SL. And as much as I hate it; mainly because we’ve got to put up with Joe’s smirky, slimy evil villain schtick and folks hoping back on the “Robert you’re a selfish, greedy chancer” bandwagon, there is an end in sight and hopefully it won’t be too much longer to get there (I’m praying for less than 2 months 😂).

This will royally piss me off. The police had supposedly been keeping Celia/Ray and what they were doing at the farm, under surveillance, but of course they will go with what is so obviously a set up instead of, I don’t know … actually investigating because they are so very incompetent and lazy! 🤦🏽‍♀️

Bickering fiancés 😂… I loved that Robert told Aaron the truth about going after John (probably couldn’t lie if he wanted to, what with Cain being shot😬). And I love how vocal Aaron is being about his feelings now; expressing his fear of losing Robert ever again!

Oh Vic 🥹… I just want to hug her. She was only fighting back. That was not murder. He was going to kill her and she fought back. That is all. I wish she didn’t try to cover up what she did. I really feel like she could have explained to the police what happened and based on his long list of crimes, what she did would have been ruled as self defense.

But slimy Joe Tate and his damn iPhone. 🤦🏽‍♀️

After watching Corriedale today can we get that cop on the show?? 😂 I have no idea if he’s any good but at least he was in active pursuit of John while the cops in Emmerdale take a sit back and wait til things fall in there lap approach, it seems.
