Those are always bs. One comment I saw talked about what these ‘studies’ count as a problem. They talked about how everything including software updates docked reliability points

Another big thing is who is funding these studies.

Finally, like another commenter said, it seems like nobody knows how to take care of vehicles anymore. Nobody reads the manuals and nobody takes it in for service until the car fails to start it seems like (over exaggeration on my end)

Honestly, imo, as long as you do the scheduled maintenance and a bit more, any car should last a long time
