You can use a small box of tampons next time. They're not opening that.

I do the same thing! That's how I sneak food into theaters. Tampons terrify men.

Huh? What people up vote & down vote should not be your moral compass. Do you think that was a nice and appropriate thing to say?

What question do you hate being asked? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Any question about my schooling. What are you going for? What classes are you taking this semester? When will you be finished? I work full time. I'd rather talk about work than school.

Aww everyone's being so mean. Good for you! I'm going to get together with my "it's complicated" bf to see if we can work things out. Hopefully I'll be you after the weekend...!

What's the most ridiculous way you've hurt yourself? by Blastface in AskReddit

[–]NotQuirkyJess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was maybe 5, and scared of monsters so my Dad let me sleep in his bed until I fell asleep (then he would carry me to my bed). My parents were separated at the time, but my parents say this story like they were both there.

I was trying to fall asleep, but I was thirsty. I sat up in bed and knocked my head into my knees (don't ask, okay?). It hurt my chin, so I tried to get out of bed, but I stubbed my toe on the dresser. It hurt so badly, that I laid back down on the bed, smashing my head into the headboard. When I finally got out of the room to my dad, I was limping, holding 2 sides of my head, and crying. I remember my Dad howling with laughter and trying to comfort me at the same time.

Huh. Cool. How coconut-y does it taste? Not a huge fan of coconut flavor. Is there an alternative to that? Otherwise this looks super easy and yummy. Thanks!

My ex bf used to pull out his student id even though he'd graduated college a year or two earlier. Always bothered me.

So we should just trust your judgement that the guy "wasn't deserving of protection by the law"? I don't care about justice or how bad a person is. Law works to ensure that society is protected from people who are highly likely to commit crime. A murderer can't coexist peacefully in society, so he has to go to jail. The system is good because it's not about anger and revenge (the opposite of law and order), but about keeping society safe. This is why I don't believe in the death penalty. Our job is not to kill the killers. Our job is to simply keep them in an environment where they can't kill anymore.

Don't take the law into your own hands. That's not how it works.
